@rickytrix Sorry i readed it wrong you chat about a iMac lol, but how can it be slow man is the driver ofthe disk maybe not installed the the iMac succesfully ?, when i install Windows 7 it working directly perfect with 250MB read speed.
I need some help with a flash drive i got from a friend. Kingston Data Traveler DT200 128GB Flash Drive. I am trying to access the drive and it does not detect the drive. when i eject the drive its under 2233 PRAM usb device. i cant format it or check for errors. Please help..
Awesome! This is a sign that the prices are still going down. I hear and have read from many reviews that the best time to get SSDs will be by the end of the year. Because of this, I'm still reluctant to purchase till then and seeing this review continues to solidify my patience..
can you choose which information you want cloned? for example, I have a full 750gb hard drive, so 128gb won't fit it, can I just choose to clone to OS?
Really not going to bother until these drives reach at least 300GB and a price that is more affordable. Speed is important to me; but not THAT important. I'd be better investing in another large hard drive than a single faster SSD with a tiny size. That's just my opinion anyway. Nice review.
@itchyfingers89 yea it does work with laptops. The only way it would be an easy install if you mean by O.S system is with windows 7 . any other o.s systems would be a pain with alignment and other corrections u have to do .windows 7 is already good to go for ssd's .
@mrjamesb56 you are correct, you cant really notice it that much. Specially if you never had a SSD, its lightning fast compared to a regular Hard drive
i'm running one of these (64gb) on a lenovo t60 with windows 7 and runs very smooth. not as high-end and expensive as intel ssd but still very good performance over the standard 5400rpm notebook drives.
@heavyrazor95 I prefer to just leave my computer the way it is unless there is a real need to change it. I'm content with how my PC performs as is right now, so I'll wait until my next one to adopt something new.
@PcWizKid i would like do do reviews on products like you where do i start

@skyblast, just mod the computer whenever u want to, its not really necessary to keep buying new computers every 1-2 years.
