Humans have to capture and control everything. Its called depression and stress. This animal is exhibiting the same behavior that inmates do when enclosed in a small area for too long. Jus to get this animal in this zoo this bear was exposed to being hunted, tranquilized for days, stuffed in too small of a cafe not to mention being kidnapped from his home. Fucking barbaric race does this for money and so some rich kid from the Hamptons can take "cute pictures" of depressed animals.

The video is not fake, just really sad. This is probably Oregon Zoo because the bear there does this all the time. The other bear does a repeated swimming behavior. Oregon Zoo needs to update the exhibit, it is too small. Detroit & San Diego have nice exhibits that give the bears plenty of space.

Saw the polar bears doing this in our zoo. The conditions here in the zoo were pretty bad - two adult polar bears, male and female, together with an asiatic black bear and another bear, can't remember what kind of bear it was. But it was horrible to see these bears which would never meet in the wilderness pent-up in a way too small compound. Today the polar bears are gone to another zoo, don't know if the conditions are better. Instead of polar bears, we do now have hybrids of polar and grizzlys

The bear does not care whether his species goes extinct or not, and it isn't saving his life in any way, it is depriving him of it. Imagine being forced to live in a cage for the rest of your life, being forcefully impregnated (= raped) so your species can continue being exploited by humans for centuries more.
