It was a real honour to sing the national anthem for the CF Appreciation night and I am proud to wear the uniform - in addition to holding the microphone...thank you for posting this.
Pity you wouldn't hear that in Vancouver, since it IS the official version. O Canada was originally written in French and adapted into English. English Candians (myself included) would do well to remember that.
@engrish2006 wrong....it was just sung ata Canucks game a few days ago. whenever we have the opportunity/privilege to sing the national anthem...it must be sung in BOTH official languages anywhere in the world. example: when we were on parade for D-DAY ceremonies in france an holland...2 diff. members of the CF were "instructed" that they shall sing the N.A. It was sung in french and english and always will by if sung by a member of the CF or RCMP.
