Wadalli Bros, hail from a place called Guru ki Wadali (birth place of 5th Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev) Amritsar, Punjab. Born into the fifth generation of musicians, they are great Sufis.

Their full names are Ustads Puran Chand Wadali and Pyarelal Wadali. Puran Chand Wadali is father of Lakhwinder Wadali who is one of the contestants in Lux Junoon program.

Master Saleem's father is Ustad Puran Shah Koti who is also the Ustad of Hans Raj Hans.

Well...researched a bit now.These guys follow SIKHISM though also sing at mazars. Their ancestral village is GURU KI WADALI, Amritsar, Punjab.They actually are 4 brothers and one of them is a Raagi(Religious singer) in the village gurdwara.Well these guys say "Sufi music is religion less and and it only embeds in those who focus on one single almighty(god) and not on routes(Religion) to reach him."

Wadali brothers being Sufi Singers are even less likely to be followers of the traditional Hinduism. Name of Premchand Wadali's son Lakhwinder Wadali is a typical Sikh name. So the name is not an indicator of their religion. Whatever their religion, they are the pride of Punjabi music

Prem Chand Wadali and Pyralal Wadali are "Sufi" singers. They are from the village Wadali near Amaritsar. Wadali is the birth place of sixth Sikh Guru Hargobind. Large number of people though with Hindu names from villages around Wadali -- Basarke were followers of earlier Sikh Gurus. Now they (with Hindu names) are follow of mixture of earlier Sikh and Hindu traditions.
