  • @Rila don't be scared, they only live in austrailia, North of Austrailia!

  • borrring

  • Once on Cocoa Beach there were all these dead jellyfish washed up on the shore and it was crazy! I went surfing and I kept stepping on dead ones. When I came back I put one on my head and it fit perfectly. I was about 7. :0

  • Just one question? when i can see the jellyfish? I've been watching the video for an hour and haven't seen it yet U.U second?

  • OMGGGGGGG U R SOOO FUCKI*NG BRAVE!!!

  • I Noticed Them But When You Get In The Water Put Sunscreen On And Vasaline and put lemon juice on you. i heard they will stay away and you can see them more clearly

  • i live in oahu i go to that beach and i dig a big hole at the beach so some peeps throw JELYFISH BOX INTO MY HOLE!!!!

  • Dont see the sign! Im scared to swim with box jellys but I will pick one up and take it home i swear!

  • I am not going in the water. @__@;;

  • Holy crap they are literally invisible!! assassins!!

  • I think you need to brush up on your research of these little guys. I was stung by one 5 years ago, it wrapped around my leg and was extremely painful when it happened. The pain was nothing compared to the nightmare that began 20 minutes after being stung. I experienced what is now called Irukandji syndrome also referred to "impending doom". I am lucky to be alive and now have a very high pain tolerance. Nothing will ever compare to the neuro/cardio toxin these invisible buggers release.

  • They sure are hard to see!

  • i knew all this stuff cause im watching a show on it

  • dom it the most posinous thing in the world

  • My 7 year old brother got stung by 2 box jellyfish in Australia( 16 April, 2011)

  • i hate jellyfishes and they look scary, there toxic! lucky my beach dosent have jellyfish

  • If you take it out of the water and pour freshwater on it, it dissolves.

  • Anyone seen this?

    /watch?v=NLVhsph2JpY

  • this fukin jellyfish cheats!she has invisibility mode on!

  • poor beached jellyfish, it is stuck and cramped!

  • OMG one jellyfish IM GONNA DIE AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • its like tiny

  • machine op, do you like hawwai? I might go there some day

  • wait wait wait. so the jellyfish come to your island to......screw?

  • this is not an invasion, this is only one jellyfish

  • @elvemage32 You are so correct. NOT an invasion. But I actually seen and "filmed" THREE !

  • @elvemage32 LOL

  • Jellyfish are Satanic.

  • stuped people box jelly fish is on of the deadliest jellyfish in the world :X

  • @MrDoomworld

    =D

True! But once again, the HAWAIIAN species of Box Jelly is NOT deadly, unless you happen to be alergic to it's venom. The AUSTRALIAN speies. I will NOT be on the beach at all!

Since this video is a un-expected over 10,000 viewership, I will make an underwater video one day soon.....

  • @808machineop that looks like the austrailian kind though

  • @808machineop yes this is true the australian chironex fleckeri is the 2# most deadly Jellyfish , the #1 is irukandji , However, The Hawaian one is deadly to depends on how mutch you get burned.

  • Nice to meet you

    Japan Hokkaido is.

I have lots of videos of Hawaii.

Want Hawaii to go next overseas travel.

    Please also see it?

  • SNAKE @ 1:24

  • @ayetskis

    =D

That's a seed pod from some tree. And Hawaii does not have any snakes except in the zoo...... WE hope....

    ;)

  • @luwu2008

if you want to risk your life to save it go ahead, 1 sting = nights out for good.

  • Why not save the one washed on the sand?

  • The hawaiian box might not kill you, but they still hurt like hell. Much worse than any regular jellyfish you come across anywhere else in the US

  • I saw something that said that hawaiian ones are deadly.

  • @MacintoshPlus1MB NO. NOT the Hawaiian "variety"... ONLY unless you are allergic to the venom, and you do not seek medical help right away. Which Hawaii is BLESSED with the one of the fastest 911 - EMS calls in the nation.

The AUSTRALIAN box jelly is the DEADLY one, and IF this was the Australian box jelly, I would NOT be in the water at ALL! The "Hawaiian variety of box-jelly fish" is a different species than the Australian ones. It feels like multiple wasp stings.

    =D

  • @808machineop oh, ok.

  • Ew and yuck are not the right words

  • a jelly fish has 24 eyes it can see you an you aggresived it

  • chironex fleckeri or? ähm i can't see it

  • how do you know those are box jellyfish?

  • damn so invisible

  • if they are Aussie box jellyfish all the people there would be dead

  • ooo yuck gross death to all jellyfish

  • @ig2468 Agreed! Transparent killing machines!

  • Haha if that was me taking the video I wouldn't be sticking around to see if that jellyfish came any closer, I wouldnt take the chance but it's so cool/dangerous that you can only barely see the shadow of the jelly, you would never know it was there until it stung you, and I'm sure that hurts like nothing I've ever felt before! >.<

  • @avatar347

    =D

I KNOW the Hawaiian variety of the box jelly is NOT even close to being deadly as the Australian species. I would NOT even walk on the sand if the Australian variety is even on the sand! But for the sake of YouTube, here it IS!

  • @avatar347 If that was me I wouldn't even go on the sand!

  • Oh I remember that day. I went swimming anyway and when the tide came in I though the sun was getting to me and I stared at the bubbly a tuff for like ten mintues

  • I was at Waikiki and they had the jellyfish warning but we still went swimming and dident have any problems we dident even see one but 300 people on waikiki beach that day got stung... crazy i guess we just got lucky

  • lol watching stick i bet hes thinking *POKE IT POKE IT NOA!!*

  • IF YOU READ THE DESCRIPTION. YOU'LL FIND OUT MORE!

Goshh. at least read it before framing.

  • i was surfing queens and i had one sting my leg, it felt like a lot of wasp stinggs, it sucked, but the lifeguards put vinegar on it, or a local will pee on you, your choice lol, then the pain goes

  • @lyricslover4ever I'm an ASS because YOU mentioned I am a retard. So WHO is the retard NOW?

  • @808machineop whatever but im sorry i called you a retard and all i just thought it was weird that you would stand nezxt to a jellyfish because they're dangrous and they hurt

  • @808machineop

    You are.Lol.

  • r these the aussie jellys cuz if they r u are mad they kill

  • @krazbar1 These Hawaiian box jelly are not anything close to the deadly Australian box jelly. I wouldn't even go into the water if I knew Australian box jelly was around.

These "Hawaiian variety" is similar to a bee sting, and sensitive people, like a wasp sting. Only RARELY would someone requires hospitalization.....

  • @lyricslover4ever Because of the sake of making this video, ignoramus! You are ignorant because you failed to read everything I wrote! These Hawaiian variety of box jelly is NOT deadly as the Australian ones, OK?

  • I got hit by one of these little fuckers when I went to hawaii when I was like..... 8 or something.

    It reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hurts.

  • do these things cling to u???

  • iv been to waikiki beach last year and i hardly saw anything in the water exept people swimming xD

  • @xxcutiex12 The tentacles do. That is where the stingers are..... Use vinegar to stop stinging cells from firing.

  • LUCKY YOU! You do NOT want to see a jellyfish or Portugese-man-of-war in the water!

IF you ever got stung from a wasp or a honey bee, well that is how painful it feels to get stung from the Carybdea alata or the Carybdea rastonii (Hawaiian variety of box-jellies). NOT like the deadly AUSTRALIAN box jelly.

The tentacles is long, so they DO wrap around you, and the tentacles is activated to sting you. Vinegar deactivates the sting.

Just remember 9 - 10 days after a full moon.....

  • YES! Usually nine to ten days affter the full moon. They go to shore to spawn.

But as you can see, this doesn't affect our tourist at all! Those who do get stung, the lifegueards are ALWAYS ready with vinegar. Very RARELY someone get stung, who needs medical assitance, even a ride to our hospital for treatment.

  • I got stung by a blue bottle jellyfish, wrapped around my leg, hurt at the time.

Obviously not as bad as a blue-box jelly.

  • I always thought box jellyfish were much larger than that. that thing is tiny...

  • The second one I filmed, the one that came very close to my ankle, that one was 3 inches in diameter, and about 7 inch tentacles. I believe the Australian ones are smaller than the ones we have here, but they are WAY MORE DEADLIER!

  • that's just a jellyfish --'

  • Hmmmmm.... I don't know what kind of jellyfish they have in Denmark..... at least we are enjoying great tropical WARM weather. :)

  • @808machineop

I was stung by a baby jellyfish off the miami coast when i lived down there in 1998-2001, and it was painful to say the least...Jellyfish are dangerous particularly because they're not so visable in water and people step on them. I'd still rather encounter a jellyfish than a moray eel..those things are straight from hell!

  • You don't usually "step" on jelly-fish, they are usually on the surface or just below, and the current moves them & their stingers around and possibly into people. Most are harmless and you can even pick them up, yet the irukanji is deadly.

  • @karlkarlkarl1234

Well i stepped on a jellyfish and that is how to I got stung. People step on them or kick them all the time and this angers them thus we have mad jellyfish. great combination
