THE REASON HE IS HUGE:

The armour Ner'zul's souls was imprioned in wouldnt by chance just fit Arthus, my geuss is that it would have been armour for a Burning Legion Demon (they are pretty big)

So just Arthus would have been scaled to fit into the armour by Ner'zul when he put on the helm... and ta da, thats why he is big :)

Yeah hes an enemy, DK's have him as a Starting quest giver, but after their quest chain before they leave, they break free from him and he goes back to Northrend, THATS where hes a raid boss

It's a whole new Phasing system, aka a new DK will see him as a Quest Giver, but someone whos done the chain, he'll no longer be there and Scourge will be attacking the DK starting area

Or... Every "boss" is Skull to everyone, and what that means is they don't have a level but the percentages for hit and glancings is as a mob 3 levels higher. So technically level 83. Illidan will be "83". Ragnaros will be "83".
