I Don't care how much h8 i get for this post but Ali's the reason 00 gundam season 1 was good and responsible for the only good 2 minutes and 33 seconds of season 2 ( the rest was mostly a joke with bad punchlines) and the way they killed him on season 2 was insulting to what the character represented, awesomeness.

@Blitz8083 well graham's machine, as cool as it was, was a piece crap with a gn drive. as for lockon, well he's just that awesome. but in all seriousness, look at how quickly setsuna improved over the first season; in his first battle against ali, he was getting slapped around like a bitch--a few episodes later he narrowly won the re-match, and he continuously improved after that. who's to say lockon didnt improve in the same manner?

GN Flag sucks, yes that's right. Graham is a great pilot, but his unit is a kitbash that shouldn't even be able to work without getting the pilot killed and it is a wonder that he even survived, let alone pull out with a draw.

Ali "lost" because the Trial system shut down his gundam before he could land a killing blow which was what allowed Lyle to win. Of course once the game went out of the cockpit, Lyle had the advantage because y'know, freakin sniper in a gunfight?

lockon is better den Lyle because in season 1 lockon had ali beat no doubt until the jynx came out of know were and showed lockon weakness.so lockon was the only one from the meisters dat was able to beat ali in a 1v1 with out trans-am and dats saying something.

It's funny but if you think about it Ali is probably a better pilot than any of the Innovades short of Ribbons. He is able to take on two meisters here simultaneously while it seems like he's somewhat playing around. Later he basically wrecks the Cherudim until TA Burst happens, and Arche is paralyzed by the trial field, and Lyle was able to pretty easily beat Anew in the Gaddess, and beat Revive in the Gadessa with only a beam pistol.

@vektar Ali is good, but he never shows any sort of precognition like Amuro or Kamille. If you're talking about 1:52, something beeps at him in the cockpit warning him of 00 approaching. Ali is like Yazan from Z Gundam, so experienced and ruthless, that fighting is second nature, and everything they do is simply instinctive, allowing them to keep up with and beat pilots that are Newtypes/Innovators.

@limbooger Yes the power is strong but think about the mobility, If Seravee have to be in a GN Field to keep attack from hitting it it shows that is is pretty slow in reacting. Seravee is a long range combat machine mostly made for long range attack and attack a fairly large group. So you can't blame is for being trashed in a couple of minute

@omegax05 If you think about it, in such a small space, like the Docking port that Ali and Lyle fight in, trans-am wouldn't have done much good. What good is 3x speed if you have no where to move around. Firepower wasn't much of an issue since they were locked in close combat, and the bits/fangs wouldn't have much space to move around, plus the rifle bits and 6 of Ali's fangs were already wrecked.

Also, I was terribly disappointed by the fact that Ali ended up fighting Lyle in the end. It would have been way better in my opinion for him to fight Setsuna (him being Setsuna's old master who killed both his parents and his best friend) and also Saji (he murdered Saji's sister back in season 1).

Because Seiji mizushima didn't know how to handle him better(though he did an excellent job with the series). What he basically did was sold him out by having his suit decativated and killed outside of mobile suit combat(where as you see, anybody no matter the skill is vulnerable)

Well if you want it do sound better.... the reason was because of the Trans-Am burst. Ali could hear Lock-On (2's) thoughts and it confused him and that is when Lock-On pushed him back. But even then both we ripping each other apart. I thought Ali would still win until the trial field was activated and Gundam Arche was shut down. Lock-On would have lost if it wasn't for the trial feild. I think that way sounds better :)

Ali's Enact has more power wheras Graham just has more speed. So they are still using Grunt units, just slightly upgraded.
