Favorite bowl game I was at was 2000 against Florida when Plax went off on the Gators and made a national name for himself, also my freshman year. BTW sorry for the double post go Green.

The earliest game I remember going to was when I was 6 MSU wins @ the Rose Bowl agaisnt USC. I knew even as a kid that this was a huge game and you could feel the electricity that year. It's funny how we beat USC twice in Labor Day @ East Lansing and @ Pasadena. Bring back the block S on helmets man.

Even as a Purdue fan, I have nothing but respect for Michigan State. It's a great school and your fight song is quite catchy, defiantly the 2nd most underrated fight song out there (w/ Hail Purdue being #1 in my biased opinion!). I'm looking forward to the Purdue/Michigan State basketball game when College Gameday comes to West Lafayette, let's hope we play better than when we played you guys in football earlier this year. I hope Izzo makes in to the Final 4 again, he's a great coach.

I have watched MSU football for about 45 years--roughly the same time frame I have listened to the Beatles. Unlike The Beatles though, the Spartan football program is only sporadically excellent.
