Firstly, I had more fun spending my time blowing up animals with explosives in Farcry 2 than having to coap with this excuse for a game!

It had nothing to do with the movie apart from the start and for some reason the crew from the movie go off in one big pointless quest to take down skynet all by themselves (yeah right) we here at "The Rant" love the terminator movies and we are fans but every attempt to make a game based on the franchise falls flat on it's face and gives the movie a bad name!

This game had potential. If only it was first person instead of third person with a awkward targeting, and not fighting the same several enemy drones over and over. They could've included a whole different perspective to the story like fighting armed hostile gangs, Skynet sympathizer humans, and gangs of cannibals instead of just machines.

And you could beat it in a few hours. The city looks like some collapse of civilization happened and not leveled by a nuke. It wasn't dark enough either.

Not to mention T4 was too G-rated for everything, all the Terminators couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, the Motos and the Harvester seemed like something out of Transformers, it screwed up story continuity, the future is too bright, there were no skulls, no darkness, no plasma guns, no theme, no emotion, Stahl was better than Bale, everyone has nice hair and white teeth, there was no Skynet death camps, no Kyle and John escaping and starting the Resistance.

I just finished it on hard under four hours, and that was because of some problematic parts (and i blame designers more than my skills) - i got it as a gift, so it's not that bad, but if i would have to buy it, i'll most definetely buy something else. It all the same, over and over, bad graphic (ok, it's not that bad), stupid AI (that's really, really bad), uninspired story, shitty dialogues, overall, if you want interesting FTP, buy Kane and Lynch, or wait for it's sequel.
