ay when i turn ableton on it reads my midi board but when i hit record my midi controller goes out. any answers for that??? thanks

hey, i have just started using ableton, and i dont really know how to do things, can u please make a tutorial of making a simple song, like with a drum beat and synth if you havn't already have..then put it all together
