  • Whats the song at 0:53

  • What's the last song in the video?

  • Aerodynamic is wrong

  • What's the song at 0:27-0:30?

  • @Maggot709 I love you more by George Duke.

  • One thing is sampling, another thing taking songs like the first ones here and do almost nothing else than putting electro to it. Its still the same song, not even mixed.

  • que nombre es la que suena en em min 1:10.plisss!ya es un classic pero!

  • why do you think they never gave credit to tavares for High Life, The Imperials for Crescendolls and Eddie Johns for One More Time on the official Discovery track listing? Bangalter denied it several times but it's been proven over and over (on youtube) that they were in fact sampled. I appreciate your input on this.

  • FAKE.U IDIOTS DO'NT KNOW DAFT PUNK.THEY PRODUCE MOST OF TEIR SONGS

  • I love hearing the originals and the Daft Punk songs after each one. So fun.

  • the last sample is NOT wrong. there's a DJ on youtube that will show you how the one more time sample was done.

  • Daft punk can sample tracks cuz theyre DJs and most of us take bits and proces of tohers to blend them into something new if im not mistaken artists need to stop that though

  • @Dtctr010

by your logic new engineers should stop improving the combustion engine and other old concepts, because they weren't originally theirs.

Yeah I'm good with a 1890s era combustion engine. :D because newer engineers just take bits and processes of older engineers ideas to blend them into something new if I'm not mistaken engineers need to stop that though.

Daft Punk are engipioneers of electronic music.

  • i agree with Daemonicguylol

  • the titlejust came to ma mind thanks anyway : D

  • hows the song from 0:42 to 0:45 called? thanks for the help ; ) bye

  • @ohdearimdone its "Robot Rock - Daft Punk"

  • @ohdearimdone

    robot rock

  • @AN7HRO Its daft punk indo silver club

  • All the samples here are correct... ¬_¬

  • Some of these comparisons are totally made up! Who cares anyway? It's not like these samples were used in secret. Daft Punk themselves have been sampled to death! How about that!?

  • Yup, type Daft Punk One More Time remake in the YouTube searchbar. All of these songs are sampled, especially One More Time. You can tell One More Time is sampled by simply listening to it! I'm not bashing Daft Punk for doing it, because they're musical geniuses. I've done it before and will release a remake of One More Time using these samples ("More Spell on You") by Eddie Johns

  • @CaptainBaseMusik fucking idiot

  • Daft Punk = warm poop

  • so what if they are right or wrong haha daft punk took there bullshit and made it ten times better =)

  • the last three are completely legit

  • Alll Samples are Right... =)

  • last three are right, especially the indo silver club one, check wikipedia

  • @Hobbyist56 haha check wikipedia, you should have seen my school's wikipedia page on our muckup day!

  • Heres proof that the last sample is correct. watch?v=3Ztzl_VYlX4

  • those last three are bullshit like heck!!

  • @tweeterman2861

The one more time sample is correct. The song they sampled it from is called Spell on you. Their is even a video of a guy named Brian who brakes the samples down

  • ya they're dj's, who sample their own shit. they play instruments and run them through effects processors and sing into a vocoder for vocal samples. you people are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ridiculou.

  • @ChronSolo1800 1. arnt djs 2. everything is done by software no recording instruments.

  • the last couple made no sense my dude.

  • last 3 r wrong my friend

  • awesome video! come check out my sample beats on my channel. thanks.

  • okey, so they maybe used/use some 1-5 second samples from other songs, so what? They make them better, and ofcourse, they are not a Artist/Band, they are a DUO of DJ'ing. DJ´s can sample, just understand that. And btw, some samples are wrong, terribly wrong.

  • @Kroax200 Well no one said there's a problem with them using samples did they

  • I wish I used those samples... then Id be a DJ!

  • How about providing the names of the bands?

  • yup last 3 are bs, I am dissapoint

  • @DaftKid5000 The Last Song Wasn"t wrong it's really One More Time.

  • i dont really understand why people gives a damn bout if a song its sampled or not

and dont understand either why others say its lack of originality...

i mean if they dont have originality at all or if they only use samples and its so lame,

why anyone else did the same? or better?

    daft punk Rock!!

  • 0:28 The first few seconds are like that

  • Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo helmet is off the chain!

you guys do know that they are European...America suck with all its stupid rap lol we want to be entertain and Europe knows how to bring it!

  • The last three are nothing but guesses. Bad guesses. I'm cyber faceplaming them right now. As a matter of fact, they were horrible guesses!

    I hate those guesses! >:C

  • Daft Punk is the only group like it. There is no other group that samples music, ever!

    JFWY

  • how i hear one time they dont make they remake and cool

  • who gives a shit i like it.

  • @092a7b62cb I'm with u!

  • Daft Punk are dj's they take songs and mash them together just like very other dj

  • You guys just don't get it, aren't you?

I don't think he made this video to say "LOOK HOW FAKE AND GAY DAFT PUNK IS, THEY'RE "STEALIN" FROM OTHER MUSICIANS."

I think he wanted to show us where they got their samples from. For me, this was helpful but i'm still searchin for the beat they use in "forget about the world" (y'know, the remix of this of this song from gabriella or so...)

  • Ok, The Aerodynamic and one more time. I SEE ABSOLUTLEY NO RESEMBLANCE.

I got a few notes here.

    1. Um, why do you care if they edited the music or not, do, or do you not enjoy it anyway? its music dude, get over it.

    2. Even if there are FACTS ''emphasis'' that they did apposedly ''Steal their samples'' they made the songs better for us to enjoy....Daft Punk is a DJ/Mastermix Group.

    3. Daft punk 4 life noob.

  • check out Briansredd he has the video that explains how daft punk made one more time.

Aerodynamics sampled Il Maquillage lady at the beginning.

  • I'm not hearing the resemblance in Aerodynamic

  • in this video they don't show you where that sample is

  • Daft punk r still fukin mint so hu gives a fuk wot theyve done to the music its called talent its the 21st century!! Fukin leave it!

  • the grammar nazis give a fuck.

    HEIL! ASSEMBLE!!!

  • daft punk made all those songs like 10000000 times better

  • Well i dunno.I like the original songs almost as much as the Daft versions.

  • la ultima cancion de one more time la sacaron de el grupo le knight club de donde era antes Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo que es uno de los integrantes de daft punk

  • One more time was sampled like one, two seconds from one part.

  • what's your point?

  • one more time is not sampled not all of their songs are sampel'd :)

  • last three sample are wrong.

  • I thought that as well

  • The last one is really One More Time just listen to the whole song. It sounds like the opening of the song.

  • @Rikstyle93 No, the last sample is the real...

  • @MrHelium78 Agreed, the One more time is correct, check out this video by youtube user briansredd watch?v=OMxITRKIObY

  • @Rikstyle93 ummm no watch?v=I85DUucY_ek

  • @Rikstyle93 no the last sample is right

  • @Rikstyle93 i dont think so, the last one is atleast real, there's some videos about it on youtube. search for daft punk one more time sample or something. the song it's sampled from is called one more spell on you but i don't remember what the artist is called...

  • @Rikstyle93 actually, they are right

  • @Rikstyle93 Actually, the last one's right. The sampled portions are too small to figure them out although

  • @Rikstyle93 Actually the last one is right. look up where daft punk got the one more time samples. that song is the right one.

  • @Rikstyle93 one sample is wrong

  • daft punk is the shit

  • Oh and the last song if anyone is wondering, although it doesn't sound like One More Time, there is sections of the song which make up the beat of One More Time, if you listen to the whole song you'll hear it.

  • ur a fag first of all to believe all this shit and daft punk isnt gay unlike all the other composers and ur an ass munch and musicology is a group of fags who are jealous of daft punks awesomeness so they remake their songs and give credit to random composers faggot and im gonna fuck u up if u post another gay video like this ok bye

  • @purplestickfigure How is this a gay video? Daft Punk sampled these songs, all legit, payed for.

  • please don't !! you are sooooooo scary

    hahahahaahha!

  • the last three samples didnt sound anything like daft punk

  • Damn you cut Karen Young right before the sample. And I want that Aerodynamic sample!!

  • DAFT PUNK ROCKKK!!!!!

  • To you fools that keep saying songs where not sampled because it doesnt have samples listed in the cd booklet are fucking idiots.

  • lmao 50% of em r fake

  • Dude. It's all real. Seriously.

  • how do you download samples to your electric piano (if you have computer software for music making)please reply on my page

  • the last three were a bunch of shit the rest are real

  • Indo Silver Club (1st of the 3 last ones) got a sample from "Hot Shot" by Karen Young, it's in the booklet...

One More Time got a sample from "More Spell on You" by Eddie Jones, that's for sure I redid the song using it.

  • what happened with the tree last ones???????

  • okay for all who dont realize, thos last ones are a lil diffrent from the first ones. The first ones were a direct rip ov the song. if you pay attention one more time they sampled the horn hit and repeated it and pitch bended it, in aeriodynamic they compressed the base that plays after they say be, and used that for their base line(after slicing it and placeing the sample diffrently after pitch bending it to be a higher octave). and the first of the 3 is obviously the song cut and reversed.

  • the last 3 samples are real. the first 2 where the wrong place. and the 3rd one. was chopped so much its pretty much a new melody

  • The last 3 are so far removed from the original sources ( if they are true ) then they can't be called samples, they've become inspiration

  • 0:35 JACKSONS 5??

  • @BITEFIGHTIANO nope

  • Robot Rock Rocks!

  • they only used very small parts of the last 3 and looped them like crazy (like the barry manilo one from Interstella), but they -are- in there.

Especially One More Time, they cut up the original sample alot, almost as much as the Amen break.

  • The last three were bullshit but the rest were real.

  • Wrong, they were all real. If you knew anything about music then you'd know that.

  • i love how the sample the last one and turn it to one more time perfect

  • what song is playing at :53 ??

  • your a complete idiot. daft punk bashes your skull in with their helmets

  • Last 3 were bullshit, all the rest were real samples though

  • totally agree, last 3 were bullshit :)

  • the one more time sample is the real deal though

  • no actually that is the only 'bullshit' sample there is but some people tink its real

  • no believe it or not they are real. but believe me i know what bullshit samples are though

  • @Daemonicguylol last one is not bullshit other two im not sure about tho

  • @Daemonicguylol no not the last one!

  • @Daemonicguylol The Last Three Are Right You Just Need To Listen Closley.

  • and where is the problem ?

is normal to use samples today

I use samples too, from 1950 to today

  • poorly arranged, but at least you got the indo club sample and one more time one

  • they are the small samples that not much people can hear. listen closly

  • wtf are the last 3 songs? i dont think they ripped from those last 3

  • wtf one mor time is originally from Daft Punk. this is shit. the last 3 songs there arent the same thing

  • the last three or so werent even the same what so ever yes the first ones were exactly on it like the exact same guitar n stuff but definately the last two were not the same at all

  • wait what is sampling or are u just trying to say that they just copied other bands!!!???

  • no when theyre saying the otehr band tehyre just playing them together thats why it sound exactly the same but really its only like the guitar line daft punk have used

  • pictures of the bands they sampled doesnt really tell us where the samples come from. How about putting the names below the pictures?

  • one more time Indo silver club and aerodynamic didnt use samples

  • Yes they did dude

  • how could that be if the songs that they are supposed to be sampling dont even sound a like

  • No they didn't

Buy the discovery album, the samples are in the booklet

  • ouai foireux un peu la fin, jsui dsl mais les son nont pas etait re^ris des fois ...ou en cas pas par les ^personne dit ..

  • sry i didnt kno that they didnt actually sample on that one

  • 1:02 and 1:07 sound nothing alike (to me at least

  • i agree with you !

  • Daft Punks album Homework and Discovery is acctually better than Human After All, but all the albums are powerfull and awesome.

  • just means they know good music

  • indo silver club!!! its cool!!!

  • Aerodynamic and One More Time are not correct. Neither of those songs sampled from anybody. Daft Punk themselves say who they sampled from, and they specifically say they have not sampled anybody on those songs. Look at the credits for Interstella 5555 and they list the songs from Discovery and say who was sampled. Those two did not mention sampling anybody.

  • One More Time HAS been sampled.

I think it was Anthony Moore's "More Spell on You"

    Search it.

  • Daft punk's version still the best

  • But they did nothing, just stole all the parts from the songs, and mixed it a little bit.

  • This is neat, there should be more videos like this. Those helmets are still the coolest accessories... ever.

  • My favorite one by far is the Indo Silver Club one!

  • The last 3 one are a FFFAAAKKKEE!!!

  • Atleast there is something left in life you can learn =)

  • Um, no, they're definitely not fake. You just can't hear them because they are chopped and screwed.

What they did is they took little snippets out and rearranged them. There are tons of videos about how they did those three songs.

  • aerodynamic and one more time are hard to make out

  • who are those people at 0:37

  • little anthony and the imperials

  • one more time sounded nothing like the "supposed" original

  • yeah maybe but they dont always use loops they use different parts of it

    OK

  • they looped it and used a bunch of effects and stuff.

  • it does listen closer thionk of it without the voices

  • whats that daft punk song at 0:52 ?

  • It's "Indo Silver Club".

  • thanks man. i was looking everywhere for the song name and could not find it

  • Either incorrect, or not worth including in your video, for it has made you look foolish.

  • You idiot. The last three are completely incorrect.

  • They are all correct. For the first two, the author gives the wrong part of the song, and for the third, Daft Punk chopped the song completely out of recognition.

  • i wanna find the sample for Face To Face.. I know they flipped ELO - Evil Woman, but i wanna find the other parts they sampled like that girl singing "oh ahh" face to face now... that sample.. anyone know it?

  • That's actually a pretty big mystery within the DP sample-finding community. The vocals samples along with the guitar sample is as yet unfound, though other artists have sampled the same unknown source: see Ivana Santilli - Been Thru This.

  • daft punk didnt just take a small peice, they took the whole damn song! lol

  • i can here the one more time sample and where they got it from

  • I can't really see some of these samples DP have `Used`...Indo Silver Club or One More Time..they just sound similar

  • what's daft punk's song at 0:52?

  • Indo Silver Club

  • @BLOODSTRYKA

    The Song is called:

    Daft Punk - Superheroes

  • what the sample a 0:36 plz reply

  • who deleted my comment }:O

the one with the four girls does'nt

    sound like aerodynamic! :[

  • its because youthradio used the wrong posrtion of the song to show where the sample came from

  • OMG! Disco music that gets small pieces of other songs! I'm as astonished as when they said models and rock singers use cocaine on the news. Check "Madonna - Hang Up" & "ABBA - Gimme Gimme Gimme" or, back to the 90s, "Tamperer - Feel It" & "Madonna - Material Girl". It's called SAMPLING ffs. They don't copy, they take a small piece of a song and use it as "base". Stop the "omg /cry cant believe it" thing

  • so what, Daft Punk did give credits to the original maker, and the whole album was focused on old good songs.

  • no se preocupen ese es el trabajo de los djs disc jokeys tomar viejas canciones y mejorarlas, a mi me parece que hacen un buen trabajo me gusta mas sus versiones.

  • crappy vid, but i don't care.

DAFT PUNK RULES THE NATION!!! :)

  • DAFT PUNK RULES THE WORLD!!!

  • SO WHAT!

    DAFT PUNK RULES! :D

  • it wuld b nice if there were names 2 all of dem, and da tracks were played longer, but dat was cool!

  • i can't belive it, :S nooooooooooooooo

  • "One more time" did not use any samples

  • yes it did, type one more time and sample into youtube and you'll see it chopped up and broken down.

  • Such a horrible video. Yes, some of them were the originals that Daft Punk sampled from, but the order you placed everything is out of whack.

It went Daft Punk > Sample > Daft Punk > Sample > Sample > Sample? > Daft Punk > Daft Punk?

It'd be nice to see one of your videos without a problem in its ordering.

  • Daft Punk a tout pompé! Incroyable!
