What fundamentals is he talking about? He is the one who pointed out the dangerous flaws in the policies that brought us the Community Reinvestment Act, Fannie and Freddie. Apparently even he did not know how fundamentally unsound these policies and everything connected with them were.
The most fundamentally unsound policy no one talks about yet is to allow people to speculate with real estate since speculative land value can, does, and has on many previous occasions disappeared overnight.
our leaders, they lie into office, they live a lavish lifestyle, they get caught in criminal activity, they leave there seat is given to a friend, there whole system is bought and paid for, they have made it impossible for 3rd party to get elected, they keep us in the dark, they have put us in a $10 trillion dept, they are puppets being ran by invisible puppeteers, there greed is in jeopardy, they want us to bail them out again.the scare tactics are increasing,we need term limits, vote them all out.
McCains response to this economic crisis is reminiscent of President Herbert Hoovers do-nothing response to the Great Depression. On October 25, 1929, a day after what is now known as Black Thursday, Hoover declared:
The fundamental business of the country, that is the production and distribution of commodities, is on a sound and prosperous basis. (quote)
Martial law is comming to the hood..... to kill you see the vid on FEMA coffins..... and FEMA camps. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! WAKE UP!!! pls see Dennis Kucinich speech @ DNC
hahah...whoever tought him this line..didnt do good job..hez messing up each time hez saying...McCaine u r a war hero..doesnt make u qualified for the job..its time for u to stay home..
Usually, going to war with the press produces fantastic results for Republican candidates. It rallies the compassion and support of conservative voters while encouraging more negative coverage on the opposition (driven by an editorial decision by the paper that their reporting must be more "even-handed.")
Some years back, I was a self employed Information Technology professional. At that time, there were a number of individuals from other countries that were taking many of the hi-tech jobs that Americans could have taken. They did this by entering the country with an H1b visa.
There is a cap on how many people may obtain these visas. McCain voted to remove the cap from the H1b program. Considering how non-technical he is, I doubt he made this decision without input from lobbyists.
McCain is war veteran that lost it and Palin seems to be hooked on conservative cultural issues.
I've seen a McCain/Palin campaign button where McCain is Abraham Simpson and Palin is Maude Flanders (from the Simpsons). I think that describes the pair perfectly.
HAHAHA. You know whats sad, that americans are actually gunna vote for this idiot. The only thing that McCain has going for him is his patriotism for fighting in the war, and the fact that he has a woman running mate. I can't wait till the debates, Obama is gunna tear this guy apart, once McCain can't stand behind his marketing schemes. The best part is that McCain is actually stealing Obama's lines now....claiming america needs change. Come on people wake up, vote Obama
McPain will just bring us more economic disaster. Obama is a brilliant guy who understands complex ideas and systems, while the two headed McPain monster is just a revolving door into our economy for the conartists and thieves to continue raping this country.
Bush said the same exact thing yesterday 9/15 that the economy is strong. What planet are these guys from? When you have the oldest bank in America going belly up. These guys just go back to the same old story that "Everything is fine."
"A lie is not a lie,if you truly believe it."----George Costanza (Sienfeld) What a buffon this guy is. The Dow down 500 points, banks going belly up. WTF is he thinking? To borrow from Clinton,"It's the economy stupid." But they will use 9-11,terrorists,a clueless woman,& other fear tactics to try to win. We're not naive Johnny!!
You all know that Obama's top two economic advisors are ex employees of Freddie Mac! Hmmm, no wonder he doesn't understand the basic lessons of the great depression.
Honestly why now a days conservatives elect the most idiotic and so far to the right he's falling off person. I mean they had Ron Paul a man that is very intelligent and very wise and he's very articulate. No they want a man that only wants more oil. A person who wants to only give tax cuts to the riches people. Come on do people see this. Then he want Palin a woman that accomplish what in her life time??? Then everyone talks about the interview like Charlie was going to hard. Seriously come on
What I'm concerned about is that McCain wants even bigger, enormous, tax cuts for the wealthiest. Where he's getting the money for the tax cuts when we're in a deficit situation? China?
ok,i'm trying to be mean and throw accusations around but i honestly feel john mccain is starting in the early stages of alzheimers, having personal knowledge of this with a faimily member:lets look at the warning signs,1)memory loss-john has shown in many interviews he can't remember facts,2)Difficulity performing familar tasks-john has addmitted he does not drive anymore,3)Problems with language-john continues to mix up his words,4)Distortion to time and place-John is told what town he's in.
Simple minded people who don't fact check always vote for Republicans...in other words they are generally stupid! That's why the World laughs at us, we're so smart because we're stupid!
REPUBLICAN HYPOCRISY: When McCain was running they said he was their WORST possible candidate. Their pundits, Rush Limbaush, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage assassinated his caracter. After he WON the nomination, McCain suddenly became their BEST possible choice!!
We ALL KNOW that "if" it had been OBAMA instead who had picked SARAH PALIN for his VP the Republicans would be TEARING HIM APART for having made such dumb & irresponsible choice. Let's not kid ourselves.
Obama laid down a very specific & detailed plan dealing with our failing economy, educational system, college tuition, nat'l health care plan, tax reforms etc.
McCain hasn't. He avoids the subjects because he has nothing to offer us. So he choose the "low-road" by attacking Obama relentlessly with lies & misinformation.
Everything today gets recorded & checked. His lies come back to bite him.
He's using the same old Karl Rove's Bush tactics of fear & smear. But this time it won't work.
well, republicans tend to believe in free market capitalism, which is the desired economic situation; any government interference (which is usually what the democrats are pushing) screws things up. however, in this election I'm forced to vote democrat; DAMMIT!
This guy is a total moron. He doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground! He hopes he can dupe American women with Sarah Palin. It won't work. We don't want a religious wacko one 72 year old heartbeat away from the presidency. Americans are too smart. The debates will show the real candidates of change. Obama/Biden '08
The fact that anyone supports McCain is a complete embarrassment to this nation. He is old, out of touch, mean-spirited, war-mongering, clueless. 80% of the people in this nation disapprove of Bush, yet nearly half want to elect his clone? What has become of this nation? Is our population REALLY this stupid?
How the fuck did this old fart get 50 000 000 votes. People get brainwashed by this assholes big time.

EVERY time our economy tanks, a Republican is President:
Herbert Hoover (R) caused the Great Depression
Dwight Eisenhower (R) caused the 1957 Recession
Richard Nixon (R) caused the 1971 Recession
Gerald Ford (R) caused stagflation in 1973
Ronald Reagan (R) caused Black Monday Oct 19, 1987
George H. W. Bush (R) caused the 1991 Recession
George W. Bush (R) caused the 2008 Economic Disaster!

Thanks for the enormous financial mess you got us in.
Our Dutch company is bankrupt due to the 8 years mess in the US!!!!!

ask the rep. camp. leaders before your next interview.
Obama, are you sure you want to sort out the mess they made? If yes, we support you. Good luck.
