  • Mike Long is a big bass catching genius. On top of that Dobyns builds a bad ass Mike Long signature series jig rod.

  • good music , fat toads. and the best part is Its basicly all MV and socal! ahaha can never go wrong

  • Nice Bass... goes down to 20 Hz

  • Wanna see a 20lb bass? Or find out how to fish a plastic worm? How bout a new fishing technique that works evrytime? Guess what, ITS ALL ON MY PAGE

  • gotta be mexico sugar lake

  • I see I need a bigger swim bait. I bet those things cost $ 12.00 each.

  • can the music be any shittier

  • Anyone who fishes those southern Cali lakes will easily catch those type of bass. It doesn't take a pro to catch a big one there. Just use a nice trout swimbait since that's what keeps those fish big.

  • @branina its not so easy to catch fish like that in so cal bro, considering that those lakes are some of the most pressured lakes in the world.

  • Notice how almost every bass in the video is from just two southern Cali lakes....LMAO.....

  • Im still learning video, but i would have used cow bell more! cow bell rocks!!!

  • number 4 wtf!!! steve-O

  • Don't use music

  • Thanks for enjoying my video. To answer some questions I thought I'd post this.

These bass were caught in Southern California on swimbaits and sight fishing

primarily. All were released alive. Yes some were caught on a private lake. The others were caught on lakes Perris, Poway, Jennings, Dixon and MV. The dvd's are still available while I still feel like sending them out. I hope you all catch the bass of lifetime.

    Bass wishes,

    Mike Gash

  • nice private lake youre fishing..lol..yall really feed them well...

  • i think i got a woody

  • Big, more like huge. What state is this in?

  • @terriesales my bet is california

  • cazzo che bigheee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man, you got my juices flowin' now......gotta get that line of mine wet.

  • There ya go ya dumb rednecks. Suspend the full body weight of the fish by its mouth then throw it back in the water. It won't have any problems eating with torn muscles in it's jaws. If you aren't going to eat what you catch, you don't belong on the water.

  • @CarlLewenski C'mon Carl, those aren't trout. Those bass have the head and jaw structure to just be fine. They weren't abused. They were just HUGE. Great video.

  • That a good fishing video

  • man dottie was over 20 puonds

  • Looks like Mike Gash with him in a lot of the footage. Hot Sauce fish!

  • there is no way half of those were even close to 10 pounds

  • @vassagovordant

    Ummmm.,.,Have u EVER caught a bass?.,.,

  • @DEADMANSGHOST yeah, have you? the biggest bass i've ever caught was 23 inches and weighed 6 1/2 pounds, all i'm saying is i'd like to see these guys weigh the fish in front of the camera, it's very easy to over estimate the weight of a fish

  • check out my tackle box vids guys! :)

  • gotta use all 5 fingers to lip them bad boys

  • why in the hell would they need to eat so much. it's not like california is a harsh climate

  • if you throw swimbaits alll day.. even if there arent any trout stocked in that area,, you'll still get nailed by big bass.. west lake is a good example.. ya just have to play cat and mouse with the security guards lol

  • why isnt the fish moving while u take it out of water?

  • @fabiuh991 - They get paralyzed by holding the lower jaw, once thats grabbed, the fish is absolutely powerless.

  • yeah mike long is a cheater hes ben caught fishing with trout in lakes that dont stock trout think about it he lives close to a trout farm.

  • @mazeter - Well punk show us your proof of that..

  • @mazeter -See you at Murray.

  • @Westernbigbass fasho when ever man..

  • @Westernbigbass Kick his ass Seabass!

  • @mazeter - He fishes with live & fake trout for large bass you ignorant dumbass.

  • mike long is a cheater think about it ,almost every time he fishes he catches some bass thats over 10 pounds that seems quite odd

  • @michikablabla - Wow, Josh Smith thats quite the accusation. You should be careful making comments like calling someone a cheater.Defamation of character is against the law.

  • @michikablabla - If you want to catch big bass, use big lures. What is quite odd is your borderline retarded comment. Big fish eat fish, not flys or bugs, just deal with it that he catches bigger fish than you every time he goes out. Look at the lure towards the last fish, its 8 inches long.

  • I didn`t know that the bass was so lazy... Looks like their just hanging on when he set the hook, and follow nice and gently...

Iv`e never caught a bass before. There is no bass here in norway. And i will probably never catch a bass eihter. Sad, but true

  • These bass were caught in Southern California. Some were on swimbaits, some were sight fish. All were released alive.

  • i'm with ziggenzify on that one

  • the numbers flying up in your face when you are trying to see the bass are totally annoying. Bad idea. We get the point without the numbers.

  • @ziggenzify its a trailer you wanna see the fish buy the dvd

  • nutten but the swimbait!

  • this has to be in mexico

  • stupid this is california

  • @roccosk24 yea its that bass lake in mexico i've been there its pretty fun

  • these guys who caught theses fish are reading your dumbass comments about it being the same fish and laughing there asses off..you guys are some hatting mother fucking loosers..grow up and act like men..not some hatin little punk bitch boys.

  • i want to see u guys hooking up with those monsters would be nice to see the fight

  • i wanna join your team, or whatever ya call it.. i am catching up to you guys and soon ill be catchin more!

  • you are a big fat layer

  • haha, bold statement in the beginning

  • looks like the same damn fish....

  • Most of them are the same dead fish.

  • it looked like number 8 had the same (or similar) birth mark as "dottie"

  • Number 8 does look like Dottie but if you look at the top ten biggest bass caught record list mike long caught number ten at dixon lake where dottie was caught.

  • its da same big bass every time

  • what lake is that

  • damn wish i caught one as big as those.... the last one is bs we didnt even get to see the fish just the fish in water

  • You guys are haters! Where do you think all the pro's come from? California!

I lived back east and any green horn can catch bass.. are lakes and resevoirs are the toughest to fish. So if Mike long is pulling lunkers like that, GREAT JOB!

  • Mike Long is a legendary fisherman, but you would think he would have learned not to hold big fish by their lower jaw alone. You need to support their bodies.

  • what are you using to catch those huge bass

  • Probably 8-12" trout swimbaits

  • where the fuck

  • THOSE GUYS R THE SHIT!

  • I don't care if there eating trout I would love to catch one

  • those bass are huge but u gotta look if that lake is stocked with trout and bass cas the bass feed off of them and get 10+ pounds but good job.

  • Id look like that if fed me fingerling trout too.sorry for the sour grapes but that california bassin just seems alittle out of wack.Thats why the igfa wont recognize the record breakers coming out of california.nice fish but the whole thing reminds me of steroids in baseball, there should be a disclaimer for some of those lakes where bass and trout are stocked together.

  • eh cazzo..se vengo in america vi do il bona!!!!

  • Holy fuck

  • monsters !

  • ha how many were the same fish

  • nice fish i bet half of them were pregnant

  • bass cant get pregnant there just full of eggs

  • There better be an EMT on hand if i ever catch one like shown here.. I'd die before we ever made it back to the boat landing..

  • The record is something like 25 pounds... give or take..

  • Swimbaits are cool but there fuckin expensive!! id be scared just to throw em lol id rather take a REAL trout and slow troll it Hahahaha thats my game plan :)

  • its a shame dotie died

  • @drakeoutfitters

    when?

  • Comment removed

  • damn those all would be record breaking...wtf

  • Comment removed

  • Lake Castasis for the win?

  • Swimbaiting in Cali for records is almost like cheating lol, so many big bass out there its crazy. I like the trusty lunker punker

  • same fish over nd over

  • so he shaved between shots and miraculously aged? i think not

  • does anyone know the tackle there using? i fish in lakes in floorida, would the same tackle work down here?

  • Nice bass

  • i though he was northern california, but i could be wrong, like the santa rosa area

  • HES IN SO CAL!!!!

  • does anyone know the lakes that Long frequents? biggest one I've ever caught was 9 lbs. 7 oz. down here on the Georgia lakes I fish on. these bass are just monstrous.

  • i believe Long is one of the guys who hunted the famous "Dottie" largemouth. she lived in lake dixon, calif. i think her heaviest recorded weight was 25+lbs! not a record 'cause she was foul-hooked... bummer. Long throws Castaic trout and 3:16 8" mission fish baits.

  • AWESOME i cought a 7 pounder off a rat-l-trap really nice lures but awesome vid

  • the biggest bass i have caught was a 7 pound 8 ounce in the everglades in florida. i caught him on a honrytoad by zoom.

  • im not trying to shut u down brah but fuckin i caught a 13.8 pound bass on lake rohunta ny fuckin gianormous fish i was usein a jitter bug but i caught a 6 pound smallmouth usin a crank bait...those are the shit but u lose em sometimes

  • its getting harder and harder to catch big bass like that..pollution and over fishing really takes its toll on bass fishing..

  • yah u should try some bigger live bait in thir to get some better ones but those are still nice bass

  • when i was little fishing in this small lake there would always be this huge bass with a treble hook left in his lip from previous fishers. he would never bite anything. He was huge and we refered to him as king of the lake.

  • damn what where you useing????

  • Most guys couldn't (1) locate such fish nor(2) boat such fish if they had. Most guys fish too shallow, neglecting structural components of the lake. If you notice, all these catches appear to have occurred out over deep water with heavy equipment.

  • i gotta question for u u sound expeirenced brah. will u sometimes catch bass in the middle of the lake using surface lures or jus crankbaits and underwater lures?

  • Yes, I use swim baits and crankers out over deep water. I will troll swim baits -- I prefer Storm Lures swim baits -- as well as grubs attached to Roadrunner lead heads. I troll fairly slow and at depths of 15 to 30 feet deep. I seldom use surface lures, though I can see an application for them when there is surface feeding. Use swivels to reduce line twist when trolling, as well as braided line.

  • I know that Mike Long, as featured in this video, uses swim baits regularly, though he may cast his whereas I like to troll them. Pay attention to Mike. Copy what he does and you'll catch some big fish.

  • I like to use an old pool cue and some mechanics wire to haul in my hogs, holy s%^t

  • nice catches, but wheres the finesse ,those RR combos could pull in a orca and with all the BB sonar imsurprised no ones pulled in nessy

  • Yeah you're right with all the electronics anymore it's more like "catching" instead of fishing.

  • Thats why I don't use any of that stuff. Just a rod, a line, a lure, and lots and lots of hope.

  • the 25 1 didnt count because he didnt submit it the foul hook was unintentional and would have counted he wasnt aware of the rule. Foul hooks can count as records when unintentional

  • Comment removed

  • hey who here would release those?lol

  • shit :o

  • I Cuba the record is 25, but is not recognized , becouse the US blockade does not allow Cuba to register their catch in the US

  • Simply fantastic

  • I bet you get some serious bass thumb from them mother humpers!

  • Nice soundtrack too!!

  • Were any of those caught in northern Los Angeles county? I have fished Castaic and Casitas lakes there, and the largemouth and stripers are crazy big!! The locals were fishing 8"-14" rainbow trout swimbaits.

  • amazing!

  • good bass

  • nojoda ven a venezuela

  • 20 pounds my ass!

  • if you think that's a big bass check out the bass attack in falmouth kentucky!!!!!!!

  • Big Bass!

    Nice Bass!

    私も釣ってみせます‼ great‼

  • long live dot, sd monster bass capital

  • those were all huge bass!!

  • i think my weight scale of is messed up.I caught a bass a little smaller than #14 butmy scale called it 7 lbs

  • those are some of the biggest bass i ever saw.espiecally the last one

  • 16 looks like it has a bowling ball in its stomach

  • 14 was biggg

  • why doesnt this guy have a fishing show?

  • lol its the same hahahhaha you is pig , its not true

  • those things are bored.

  • If you want to cacth a big bass go Cuba....

Cuba got the biggest largemouth bass of the world, the reason, noboby eats them ! people rather go to the sea for saltwater fish... so far ten 24 pounders have been hooked, one american tourist got two 20 pounders in one day! (the U.S record is 22.4lbs, I believe)

  • the U.S. record in now 25 pounds and 1oz it was caught in california look it up it look like the bass swallowed a basketball

  • It is the biggest, but there is a rule that u have to hook it in the mouth (which he didn't) I believe it should still be the record though.

  • the WORLD RECORD is 22.4. the 25.1 was not official since Jed foul hooked her.

  • Where are the pics of these 24#ers? why hasn't anyone submitted them for world record status? THE WORLD RECORD is 22.4, so unless those so called 24#er's have been officially submitted, the 22.4 still stand to this day. the 25.1 caught by Jed Dickerson was not official since he foul hooked her.

  • song?

  • shutup willy i just started bass fishing and i catch 5,6 pounders stop acting like youre the best

  • well, I guess it all depends where you fish. In Texas a bag of 4,5 pounders is nothing, but a bag of 4,5 pounders in Wisconsin wins tournaments.

You are right, though, about VVilly, he's a bit arrogant

  • what lures caught the most fish

  • i wonder what kind of bait he uses

  • pobably swim baits in guessin

  • For all you idiots who don't know anything.. most of those fish were caught by a guy named Mike Long.. who has caught well over 100 bass over 10 lbs and was actually on the front page of a fishing magazine for his 20 lbs 12 ounce bass. And I think number 12 on this one was a beast!

  • haha 100? you sure are the smart guy dude. I'd say its more like 1k.

  • I'd say its more like a few hundred.. nowhere near a thousand. Probably 3-400 at the very most. And this coming from some idiot who probably don't know shit about fishing. I've caught at least a hundred bass ranging from 8-9 pounds, a 10.1 ounce bass and last year I caught a 11.3 durning the spawn. You're a dumbass.. don't talk to me like you know what you're talking about.

  • # 14

  • # 3 WINS.

  • why are you wearing a glove? Your the first person I have ever seen holding a bass with a glove. You must moisturize.

  • very nices..Wheres this lake at, Im sure I can get a couple

  • holy shit!

  • What song is that?

  • Them are some hawgs guys!

  • same fish about 20 times wow..?

  • i think they were the same exact fish

  • this seems fake

  • I'm sure some of those were caught on the Huddleston Deluxe, nice big fish!

  • Nice fish no doubt! I'm totally jealous. Too bad you have to try to cash in on your video clips with the website. Fishing used to be more of a fun thing and a way to enjoy the outdoors.

  • ya badbrad0616 its not the same fish he usually has different clothes and is in a different place each time

  • There were a few different lakes in the clip... maybe you're gay.

  • Hey those were nice but they all look alike. I mean it looks like you used the same fish 8 times. IF you want to see some nice fish check out a video call AbcFishingShow. It has some big fish caught in va. check it out

  • I hope those fish got released. It'd be a shame to remove a 10 lb fish. Need to keep the big guys in there to breed!

  • yeah i remember my 10 the only one ive ever caught.must be nice to just pound em out all the time like that one dude.lol

  • looks like they were stuffed

  • nice...

  • LOL the fishs didn't seem to want to flop around at all LMAO..

  • looks like those bass swallowed 10 pound weights.

  • wow dude you obviously dont fish a lot
