but you can understand why in todays hectic life where time is precious why you might not want to wake up and do this every morning. plus you have the added pressure of wanting to adhere to the norm and wanting to fit in. like I said it's a shame because it looks great and you'd be breaking with years of tradition.

Alot of Sikhs do not tie there turban everyday a violation of there code of conduct, they cheat this by starching the cotton, in the end giving paper Mattie type, so once they tie that, it gives a hat which they treat the turban as, take off and on. One other thing this style of turban is very hard and long to tie, this style can take once perfected up2 maybe 10 mins, where other style can be almost 1min-5min. His style is difficult to tie. I wanna ask all my brothers present here that I also wanna learn to tie a pagg but the problem with me is that I have very long kesh n heavy too and I want to wear a small turban(not dastaar but turban in different style),but I have tried many tyms but havnt succeeded till date and I am now feeling bit laid down......so plz can ne one help me in teaching me how to wear a small turban when ur kesh r very heavy!!

veerji, u should tie a fairly large turban if u have large kesh. It is our crown and should be recognised well, okay a fair size, enough to atleast cover the joora(tied up hair).
