how do you clomp the ribbon then pop them open? 1:04-1:05 please help..because we were also assigned to do a ribbon dance...tnx

we fold them into "petals" and have an elastic tie that ties them together. then we throw them out and the ribbon opens up out of the flower

jei ge' si hen hao le'! This is very nice! I perform the kung-fu version of Ribbon called; "Lung Wu Fung Fei" ,( Dancing Dragon Flying Pheonix). I use 12ft. by 4 inch double-ribbons. One yellow, one red. Duo xie Ni, Si-Fu Mark Lee

I'm pretty sure our particular set of ribbons are more expensive than that, but you won't get them too cheap. Someone in my group ordered some ribbons from that site, so that's why I have it there.

hI i'M BACK! lol Next week I will be doing my dance with the ribbons so hopefully I will put it on youtube to show you. The next time your going to Taiwan let me know so I can send for some and I will send a money order some how. I'll figure it out. Or maybe you can find a supplier for me. I really like the ribbons you guys are using, I have to stick with chiffon polyester! hug!!!!!! thanks..

One of the members in my dance group sent me a link where she ordered some ribbons. The ribbons they got from this website were slightly wider than ours, but other than that, they are about the same. I hope it helps if you want to order another set.  The link is in my description box!

hi..can i ask how long is the ribbon?

the short ribbons (blue and the red ones at the beginning) are 12',  our regular ribbons (purple and green) are 14'. the long ones (yellow and pink) are 16'. they depend on the height of the dancer. the long ones are generally prettier but much much easier to get tangled, so usually they're given to the taller dancers.

Okay I have aonther question for you. How did you get the ribbon to stay in aball?

it's actually a flower. on the end of the stick, there is a sort of elastic pouch kind of thing. we bundle the ribbon in 'petals' then put half in a pouch so it looks like a flower.

I'm pretty sure they do not have a website. We go to Taiwan to order them.

We specially order them from Taiwan. We also get our costumes from there, too.
