  • @MuslimTerroristBomb he does look like bam lmao

  • I like this song

  • KILLERS ROCK!!! love this song...;D

  • YAY THE KILLERS!!!!

    kk

so i'm making a video about bombs and crap and war, and i'm using tranquilize as the song.

what video should i use for...

acid rain, enable the talk back king, we began weeping and wailing.hurried high,on pestilence pills and pride, what a shame, we could have gone sailing???????

    I NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!

    RAWR!!!

for when they say "heaven knows everything, tranquiliszed", i have a nuke going off in space, and it's really cool.

  • he says acid rain, when able looked up at Cain

not enable the talk back king where the fuck did u get that from

  • The more I listen to it, the better song gets

  • lol there was no lyrics with it. Dat's sokay' though. Amazing song. AMAZING.

  • wow i like the way the albums show at the back

  • i've got all three albums nd they r great

  • and the media dragging him into discussing politics, next is a reflection of childhood and the games he played and stuff he got up 2, lastly its about hanging on 2 hope and dreams to help u cope in the world today.

  • ive seen a lot of comments asking what this songs about so i thought i would share what i think, i think its about brandon and his fame, first part he was living in his home town/not famous he could do what he wanted ie go walking, sailing, second part is like a struggle of consions is doing his music for love, money, or just because its easy, next is about the media, he was just enjoying doing what he wanted to do music or as he describes it sipping on something sweet

  • Actually its about Brandon wandering around an empty house. Somewhere in the house is Lou Reed, sitting at a piano. Brandon sings the song, including Reed's parts, making it look like he has been possessed. Intercut with this are shots of the Killers in a darkly lit, red room, around a table, apparently performing a seance. The video ends with Brandon finding and pointing at Reed, singing his outro.

  • nice1 smart ass, lol

  • i like this song but where is it from?

    please help

  • This song is by the band "The Killers" on their album Sawdust.

  • yeah that was what i thought too

  • if you look 2 the right and click more under 'about this vid' you can find the lyrics

  • love it

  • I am literally pressing my headphones on my head to listen more. Need...album...now.

  • Brandon has one of the most interesting voices around. He like to play around with it & that what keeps me listening to them over & over. Plus I don't mind looking at him too !!!!

  • Best song since Hot Fuss LP. Brandon looks inside here honestly and what comes out actually is reminiscent of Doors, Jeff. Airplane, and Lou Reed. He allows himself to be darkly political. It's a keeper, but the rest of the songs from Sawdust are all B-Sides from singles I think?

  • finally got the lyrics

  • on the left press more...

  • they are unique. wouldnt say that this song shows his voice, have u heard all their songs?? if not how can u say that his voice is crap maybe just in a few songs in ur opinion! love the killers love this song! xx

  • Off to the right of your screen under About This Video.

  • I LUUUUUUUUUUV This song!

And i generally love the Killers, but i agree with XArcane, they do write some pretty bizarre and boring tracks once in a while, but this OWNZ! Damn im gonna get that album (5 days 'till release ^^)

i just would like if there were more of the tune in the

"I was just sipping on something sweet

I don't need political process"-part in the rest of the song :P

  • WHAT IS THE SONG ABOUT?

  • The Killers ROCK!!! Amazing tune!

  • what a beautiful song!!!

The killers Rock !!! they are the future of rock and roll!!

  • they're amazing.

  • i saw them a week ago and they didnt sing this one. it was sad.

  • does not matter what style they sue. they sound great with everything they do.

  • This is an amazing piece of musical poetry. i don't think I'm ever gonna fully understand the Killers within this lifetime. How do they do it? How do they go from pop crap to masterpiece with such ease?

  • i love this one ther voices go so well

  • Get a clue masteralex. This is an unbelievable song, the Killers are the only good rock n' roll band out right now, and they are damn good. Shifting away from their typical sound and collaborating with Lou Reed is nothing short of brilliant.

  • I fuckin' love the killers & this song is now my favorite!!! i love it!!!

  • loveit, love it, but i love everything the killers do!

  • This song is amazing. The Killers have always made good music but this is on another level. The lyrics are like poetry injected with energy and emotion.

  • SOunds like an alternate version of UNCLE JOHNNY

  • very good song

remiscent of the sams town album but further with a touch of dark rock

  • on the right side where the information is - the more caption (lyrics)

  • you can see them clicking where it says "more"

  • Best British band to have come out of America!

    I just love it...

  • i was reading through the comments and they're all amazing and totally great to read and ispiring cos i'm a huge fan of the killers and i would follow them even to hell cos their so good with music. That last comment about the song being dirt struck me like a physical blow, ye we're all entitled to our own opinions but you can't just claim it as dirt. It's just wrong.

On a lighter note good song!!!! :)well done the killers!

  • I agree with people below me,

The killers are an absolutely amazing band

& continue to change & be different

You cant ask for anything more in a band.

I love every song the killers have done

and have been my favourite band ever since Hot Fuss.

The more i listen to this song, the more i love it.

Cant wait for the new album although i have most of the songs from itunes ;]

    Good job the killers!!

    :]

  • There is no more apparent transition in a group's musical maturity in recent years than that which can be found in The Killers' music. They're not just trying something new for the sake of trying new, they're simply maturing through their music.

  • If the amount of synthesizer focus found in Hot Fuss continued for more than 2 years, they would become a small part of a generation's memory as that cool synth band with the pretty boy lead singer. But their music grew with their generation and matured into a more American, heavier sound, that won't be found in their b-side collection "Sawdust", but can certainly be found in Tranquilize and undoubtedly in their next album.

  • perfect song

  • i didn't like it at first - it is growing on me though - i like the part like with the kids voices sounds good.

  • Dude, what is your problem? If the Killers stayed the same, you'd be complaining about how boring they'd become. They're trying out new things and pushing boundaries, and you should respect them for that, not turn your back on them.

  • oo well said

  • i have respect for bands doing new things, obviously, or my favourite artists wouldn't be the beatles or bob dylan. but what the killers did best was making glam rock songs, and whatever boundaries they're attempting to push do nothing for me. i can't argue with your taste, but me and every critic will agree this is garbage, just watch

  • Fuck the critics

  • Right on.

  • sauceyboy, your a fool. End of Story.

  • when did the killers ever make glam rock?

  • Take me where the white boys dance is also a dope song! Cant wait for the new Sawdust album! I just heard about Sawdust like a week ago! This is good news because the killers are my favorite band! and their studio efforts are equally good as studio albums

  • gr8 song don't understand the lyrics the breakind down the door part is so catchy. Instant hit i predict.

  • 'I got this feeling that they're gonna break down the door

I got this feeling that they're gonna come back for more'-excellant i think every one thinks that XD one of the best songs so far, but they're new album has some old songs aswell...i think they couldve done a bit more but thats life... :(

  • "Where the bushes and the bombs are tranquilized". Unbelievable ending to a song. So great, a very subtle and tender critique of a world of endless conflict and destroyed families. Maybe Brandon Flowers is taking after The Boss in more ways than we thought. (And he's making good on his criticism of Green Day's "American Idiot" too.)
