Ok, im confused. I know theres a GSM and CDMA version of the Storm2. The Telus website says this is a CDMA, so im guessing thats a CDMA card slot? Or is it...
EVERY review I've see state SurePress on these Storm2's but NOBODY hold the device on a table flat to SHOW IF/NOT the screen moves at all (CLICKS) or if its sound. No review is Bold enough to say this outright.
RIM why did you NOT make this with UMTS 850/1900/2100/1700Mhz bands to compete with iPhone??!
@Jaggabone This is probably waaaaay late. 3 months. LOL Anyway yes the is a clicking the screen does move when you press it. But it's way easier to press and not as terrible as the original storm.
does this phone work on gsm networks?? Like if i decided to travel to egypt for example can i get rid of the telus sim and insert another gsm based sim card into it and still expect it to work????
Just loaded OS 5 on my Storm 9530 and I must say that the improvements between the 9530 and the 9550 are just as much software related as they are hardware. I'm not feeling as much hardware envy as I would otherwise. Maybe I'll be able to hang on 'til the Storm 3 comes out.
love the clicking lol. But can you tell us if u can turn off the click sounds though.(if i want to text in class the clicking would be problematic lol.
Haha, hmm that IS true(tried it on my Storm1) However; .. That is if you are forcing a multi-touch capability(it, holding the Shift + trying to press Z) when all you have to do is "Lock" the shift button or press it once to capitalize or shift the Z...
does it have brick breaker, that's my biggest concern

The clicking is the screen pressing down.
