I think they misheard the word INtolerant so they just wrote frost tolerant. Trust the expert you are watching not the description bar that could have been written by someone who does not know anything about botany.

Why do you say frost will kill jalapenos? You should not say that if you are going to write in the description that they are "very tolerant of the frost." I am not so sure you are the "expert "you claim to be...you say frost kills them yet you write they are tolerant of it. Which is it fool?

Question from Ca - no frost here!

So, growing from seed found in the actual fruit not from a packet - no difference? Do you need to treat the seeds or dry them in any way?

Do you need special soil or would my backyard heavy soil work.

How long until the seeds germinate into a plant? How long till the plant has fruit?
