Better to be filled with Blues than Hate at an early age. He is loved by his dad, so he doesn't have to find acceptance outside the family from kid's who come from broken homes or have no communication with their parents . There's two types of players , those who have to get as many notes out as possible fast, and the one who says it all with the minimum amount and most expression of each note and phrase. Remember to taste & chew your food before you swallow it whole.

I agree. The kid definitely has talent, but he does play repetitively and sloppy, and he sure is pretentious. 'I got more sadness in me, i'm just feelin' it'. LOL

The whole attitude thing going on, and seemingly another guitar for every gig, the custom made straps etc.

It's just too much! If he focuses on the music, he could be a really big guy in some years. The way he is going now, I'm afraid he'll end up like most other child prodigies and he'll be all but forgotten a few years from now.

No, not really. I don't think I could ever be jealous of this kid's guitar playing ability. You see, I'm a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing guitar for over six years now, and I don't think there will ever be a point in my life when I will be jealous of his guitar playing. I am jealous of how spoiled he is, but then again, what musician isn't? He's played with some of the biggest names in the blues music industry today. I, for one would not like to play a show with this kid.
