I wouldn't use a sparkler as a fuse. I couldn't tell exactly but thats what it looked like. It might be ok if the top is enclosed. My friend made some acetone peroxide and put it in a open top soup can, with a sparkler fuse, sparks could have ignited it even though it didn't burn down to the explosive. When it blew he got shrapnel stuck in his leg, be careful with anything that will throw chunks, including the sparkler wire.

yea i would never use a spakler fuse for anything else that igniting other sparklers, cos obviously it sparks duh lol. cos lighting sparklers is very hard it needs a reeally hot flame to light them. sorry to hear about ur mate! i bet girls will dig those shrapnel scars lol

dude its not like those dodgy gunpowder pipe bombs that can blow just by shaking it.. friction can't ignite sparklers, you need a really hot flame just to light it. its perfectly safe lol.

I know. But when you ignite barium nitrate you really can't stop it, and if you are unlucky a piece of the steel pipe will penetrate the cleaner, the car and yourself, and that aint pretty.
