- Personally, i wouldnt use Improved Searing Pain ... I NEVER use that spell .. it's useless ( in my opinion ),

- I take Improved corruption because it helps your dps to always have it on ...

- Bane of Havoc is Really useful in PvE .. if you put it on the boss when you have to AoE adds or anything like that, the boss will take damage

- Shadowburn is SO useful if you need soulshards in a fight, you can just kill an add

But again, it's all a personal choice

@kerupted11 Destro locks are mostly for pvp but frankly you can go with any section you want, demon is a lot for your pet, and affliction, is for your casts and long term uses. and ive heard that lately orcs racials are best for warlocks but i like undead better, and go ahead and be a BE if you want their racials are pretty good to, and just make sure you get to a high lvl so that when someone says a BE is gay or somtin you can challenge them to a duel and rape them :D

Everyone says to hard cast the first soul fire... why not just soulburn it, then soul harvest before the pull. If I am given a 3 count for the pull (a normal amount of time) I can get an instant cast off on the pull... before the tank even gets the boss agro'd.

Ok, I have to question Optec's opinion of aftermath. The 5 sec daze on conflag is extremely useful. I have encountered several fights that having a slow mechanic as part of my normal rotation is a very powerful tool. And Bane of Havoc allows you to maintain some dps on a boss fight that requires u to spent alot of time on adds.
