i think democrats are stupid and unconstitutional and obssessed with big government, i think republicans are insane military theorcratic crusaders, both are kissing the asses of big business fat cats, wheres MY party?
@bbclanph The Tea Party "president" wants to take voting rights from everyone but land-owners "as the founding fathers intended." 33% of America rents their homes. They're sure as hell not my party.
Ugh. Republicans are corporate whores and have a hell of a commitment and unity to corporations and religious bullshit. Why conservatives trust giant fucking corporations SO MUCH more than the government, I have no fucking clue. Democrats are spineless bastards who keep catering to the whim of the minority right. Grow a pair of balls, you have the majority of both houses, get some goddam work done.
I swear to god we have the two shittiest political parties in the world.
I don't understand why people who HAVE health care are so pissed off about it. People who DON'T have health care should be the ones shouting at Town Meetings, not your average soccer mom who has never left the state she lives in.
If you want the facts minus the bs visit the comment section of my profile. There you will find the following: Resources, Links to the bill (long and easy version), Fear Tactics DEBUNKED, Answers to the most commonly asked questions, See which Dems and Republicans are in the pockets of big pharma along with their phone #'s and other ways to contact your reps. and more....
okay so that 9 billion if it isn't spent towards Iraq then it is going to be needed to be spent on the planes that iraqis kept shooting down. and to build new buildings that iraq bombs. and the bailout money was stupidly issued by Obama! plus a few billion is only gointg to get the health care system running for... a day maybe? then the whole entire system is going to crash exactly like Canada and UK have.
Also because not one Repulican will join in on the effort. And, their are some conservative democrats that are being bought and paid for by the health industry. Its a sad time in the good ole USA. Amazing what 8 years of Bush did to this empire.
Because some democrats actually have a conscious and don't vote simply along party lines without reading the thousand page bills that they are voting on.
Pretty sure the last time Health Care was made easier, seniors were left in the dark, with their medications more expensive and the process more compliacated than before.
Agreed, Republicans almost instantly find the $ everytime, but then they start to ? where it's coming from when Democrats decide to use it for specific purposes
The GOP is a sham. Worthless bunch of millionaires and the retarded rednecks that lick their butts in worship. I still wanted Ron Paul because as much as I want healthcare, I want a job too. Thanks Lee for the great "moment". Maybe this kind of common sense will prevail someday.

Why don't they just tax the rich or just cut their stupid tax breaks that bush gave them, that would pay for it.

These are so great, I wish they were on TV so more people could be exposed to them.
Why is it so hard to get anything accomplished even now, with the GOP virtually reduced to a headless Medusa?
jeremyrfritz 2 years ago
Because Obama's not being ballsy enough. He should ram stuff down the republicans' throats, and they shouldn't be surprised by it.

Absolutely, I agree. I also loved what Bill Maher said on Real Time last week. Maybe not "loved", more like bummed because it is so true.

Exactly what did 8 years of Bush do to the healthcare system?

it's hard to get stuff accomplished because there aren't any republicans left to pass real laws!
