I work for dish net. I have tested the 922. I would wait for the bugs to be fixed before you buy.

Its not that amazing...they get you with the design template "futuristic look" and wii like remote. oh and bigger hard drive.

wow - no keypad? Won't be buying this - I think the touch pad it cool but I use the keypad A LOT - I HATE on screen keyboards - real buttons are much better

We believe that the new Vip 922 should be release to the public by beginning of next month (November). Dishnetwork hasn't inform us of the release exact day or the price for vip 922 . We are waiting for futher information from dishnetwork.

Hey I Have a VIP211K HD Receiver with a SDTV. ALL MY CHANNELS SAY USA 105 HD DISC CHANNEL HD 182, When I Click the channel it does show in HD. What is the problem?
