why don't terran ever utilize ghosts. i feel it needs to be an essential element to any terran composition. Vs protoss armor/sentries/dark templar with emp and vs zerg with emp on infestors or snipes (2 snipes kill 1 infestor)

Take a drink everytime he says "colossi" when there's only one colossus in question, you'd be drunk in no time.

Seems like TLO was pretty wasteful with his vikings. A bit of positioning and he could probably have saved most of them in a lot of those engagements. I guess they did distract the stalkers though.

as an english nerd, I have to point out that "colossi" is the term for more than one "colossus," not "colossi" for singular and plural.

@omuploii yeh sure they are. . . 08:15 TLO attack he got destroyed by half his marines pinned trapped via forcefields and zealots holding them against forcefields while collosi roasted marines easily (forcefields where perfect because of protoss player skill). 10:10 TLO way to much stim made marines low health so easy kills for collosi. Marines are really bad vs zealots as so many zealots for marines. Marauders to late. Every player above Gold knows this . . .

Vikings are AIR and thus do not benefit from any of the terran army's standing upgrades, can instantly be blinked on top of and shot out of the sky by stalkers while the collosus micros back. They have no other part to play in the TvP game, unlike all the protoss units that you can never get too many and are never useless.

@skullmanwizard As for vikings, if you get too few, you get owned by collosi, if you get too many you kill the collosi but then you are left with a useless army of anti-air units that are basically null and void in the ground fight, and with so much investment gone to anti-air your ground army is weak and gets owned by the protoss zealot-stalker-sentry ground army.

1. Look at the stats for recent games. TvP is balanced. (some maps favour T some P, as it should be, with better maps it will be 50/50).

2. Collossus HAS to be imbalanced in this matchup, because MMM crushes gateway armies. The imbalance of collossus makes up for the imbalance of stimmed marauders.

3. You really need to work on your micro vs collussus based armies. What you say only applies to 1-a style.

Protoss is still OP vs Zerg, though. (And zerg is becoming OP vs Terran)
