  • who wears short shorts....

  • Sounds like it is running out of gas into the float bowl. make certain that it is flowing out of the tank through the petcock and into the carb.

  • So i got the bike running (sort of) and i cant get it to stay running i cleaned the carb and i got a half lap around a tennis court but ever since then it just goes for a milla second but before i cleaned the carb i couldnt go anywere but it would run for about 2 minutes so what should i do

  • @summerfest1mike it sounds like a lean condition...if the carb is spotless, then check:phenolic spacer and o-ring in mounting flange of carb....reed block gaskets...cylinder base gasket....or the magneto side crank seal....provided that you have good fuel flow from the tank......just keep trying:)

  • I've got the bike to to get spark now it dosent start up!!

  • Ok the engine turns freely I've tried the battery no spark what should I do?

  • Is the engine free now? I believe it will need a good 6V battery to get spark.

  • Now it's not getting anyspark!

  • Thanks for the help I will try to day.

  • Hello: does the transmission shift from neutral to gear to gear? If so, it is just the piston that is locked. Two stroke engines are pretty simple. I would spray some WD40 into the spark plug hole and let it sit a couple of days, then rock it back and forth in gear and see if the piston will break loose. If not take the head off, so you can get to the piston and lube around it good and possibly it will break free, otherwise pull off the cylinder and replace the piston. Good luck

  • That looks like my bike but mine is locked up and won't do anything!! :(

  • Thats how my bike looks but dosent have turn singnals and the motor is locked up!!! :( What can I do?

  • Yes, I wouldn't ride it hard. I am just riding it so my customers can see that it runs well.

  • That bike looks in mint condition, congratulations. Mine raises the front wheel if i pull the gas handle in 1st year, but you seem too big for that bike j/k :)

  • that is a nice, clean bike. is it restored or just well kept?
