Why did you go from a can muffler to the motogp slip-on, back to the can? How did the motogp slip-on sound in person? Was it loud?

@r1sabotage Yer it was real loud, i went back to a muffler as i go to work at 6AM working security on the barracks and the squadies wernt happy getting woken up rideing threw the living quaters to get to the CCTV room with a slashcut on lol

To fit the rear seat section you said you cut the subframe then bent the frame inward to fit, how did you bend the frame? I love how that rear look, great jod.

@r1sabotage cut a notch out of it, like a v shape bent it in and welded it.

I think R6 tail is too aggressive if you dont make edge to gas tank.

@toukopuoko I agree i had planned on makeing covers to match it up to the tank but ended up changing the tail for a R1 Tail.

when u put on that tail on it right you had to alter ur seat as well or did u use the seat from the r6 if so what mods did u have to do for the seat or u didnt have to make mods for seat....my fairing got vandalized and a stock set it crazy prize so i was just looking to experiment on my bike...

For the tail i had to cut the sub frame off at the very end and bend it inwards to fit in the passanger seat section because its thinner than the subframe.

and for the front saddle i used a R6 Saddle that i mounted using strong velcro like most VFR 400 owners do.

@STR33TFIGHTER88 what year r6 tail is that and how hard was it to do .. because i want to do a tail conversion but i dont want to have to completely rebuild my subframe just looking for a tail that will only take minor adjustments to fit properly .. also did you have to cut/remove your undertray/ battery box and build a new one or were you able to salvage most of it and the box .. lol one more ?? i was wondering if the f3 subframe was any diff from the f2 i dont think they are but j/w

@STR33TFIGHTER88 What sub frame did you use? How you managed? I had a 99 srad gsxr with a custum 2002 tail. I had to cut and weld the sub frame, cause it would sit too high.

@TheRickRod I sold mine to get another CBR the same but sold that for a FZR 1000 and am now building a bandit 600 with a gsxr 750 motor but still miss this bike so much, im gunna get another on for my next bike.
