It's possible and for sure with a modified one. I have a standard 525d aut. with 177hp and can do also 250 km/h on the clock (which I don't say will be a little bit less in practic).

Your 525d was well tuned ! Because my car was tuned to + 240hp & it was not possible to beat your accelerationg vidéo. I had to maximize the full potential of my car to do the same vidéo... Décatalized, JR filter, Rhp, Zénox@0W40, Diesel Vpower, cétane booster..... LOL !!!

showdlab: a pre-facelift e60 530d does not have 231hp, it has 218hp. I think you mix the hp with the 530i's 231hp! ;)

pre-facelift:

525d stock: 177hp 400nm

530d stock: 218hp 500nm

facelift:

525d stock: 197hp 400nm

530d stock: 235hp 500nm

I have a 05 525d, chipped by ESS from stock to 225/230hp and 560nm :D

Cool, very fast car and much cheaper compared to a 530d. Same 6-clinder sound, same torque, same Hp, for less money. Even stock a 525d feels good.
