  • Would be awesome if you do demos on your other guitars like your PRS 513! Lol I'm the greatest guitar player now at my school (I'm 15 years old ) and I play guitar like you, but I don't have asa much techniques as you! You're great and I can't wait to see your future in the world of music! :D

  • I am amazed Tallan, Let them all talk your blues is from another world kid!!!!!

Just like Stevies you are on your own level!!!!

Thanks to the Lord for giving you to us!!

  • I don't think as a guitar player you ever "master" your instrument. You should always be pushing your limits as a player in my opinion :)

  • Cute :)

  • Ill be damned if he isn't a hell of a player but the guitar just looks to big and awkward for him.

  • nobody should be critical of a young guitarist, let alone anyone.

  • LOL at those who think they're better than this kid. He's played with some of the most famous players on the planet because he's got serious talent. He's got soul, he's musical and his technical abilities are astounding for a kid his age.

Have YOU gotten anywhere far with your guitar playing? Yep, I thought so....

  • @Kashmir0109 I agree again - especially about only enying him how young he is as he starts to learn to play. But now compare him to, say, Sunga Jung who by this lad's age was already starting to jam with the likes of Tommy Emmanuel. I fear that this lad believes that as long as he plays fast and loud then he will be thought of as a guitar god.

  • @Kashmir0109 AGREED - One of a disappointing number of young players who think that thrash and riff-racing equals talent and musicality. Once you've heard 5 minutes of their playing you've heard it all .... which is why he says the guitar is "really easy to learn to play". No it isn't son - it's easy to lean a few riffs and runs, but it takes a lifetime to master ... and you still won't be done when you choke and suffocate on your last rattling breath.

  • I love PRS!!! That's why a have one.

But Tallan, you should show us all your guitars!!! You know show your collection!!!

  • Man this kid is a sick Guitarist!!! I love it

  • Are you sure about the locking tuners? Everywhere else I looked, it said different. I'm thinking of buying this guitar, so it's really important.

  • @YearsBecomeDays SE with USA customs are completely different.much of the difference is on the woods,SE 's got flat laminated top and not a real maple top.SE has no locking tuners from what i've read.i would recommend you buying the USA custom, the difference in playing is obvious but still the SE's are great guitars

  • This little dude is the man

  • It looks like he demonstrate NOT the guitar but just himself.

You folks who so impressed with his playing just look at russian kid Anton Oparin videos when he was as old as Tallan and feel the difference. Decide for yourself.

  • Reminds me of Gallagher with the energy he's got.

  • what`s wrong with today`s kids? i can only imagine how good this one will be when he`ll be like 40 years old... xD

  • Little Kids Rock™ much?

  • Do you know any chords man? This isn't really how you demo a guitar...

  • he is way ahead of most guitarists his age, but he has a long way to go in terms of technical skill. His playing feels very sloppy to me. I know i'm not very good, but this kid seems a bit arrogant for his age.

  • Rockin' little Tallan is in the house !!!!

  • Which do you like more, this one, or your semi hollow se? I have been going back and forth between both

  • I have a feeling people are going to make this kid out to be something he is not. He just wants to play guitar, thats it, let him live his dream!

  • geez guitar is bigger than him haha

    great job man!

  • God, I hope I can get my son playing at that level when he hits 11. Talan still has a lot to learn, but is impressive for his age. A lot of it has to do with having bigger hands and more strength that comes with age. I look forward to hearing Tallan play in a few years when he is in his mid teens.

  • He does NOT play with emotion. He's just a showoff. Oh well, at least he's got lots of time to fix that.

  • I wish I could play like you, but slow down, it will help you so much :)

  • fottuto sfruttamento minorile

  • you are awesome man, and i tell you what, if i was first learning to play guitar and got this as my starter, id shit a brick!

dad, your kid is gonna be a legend

  • i want to know if this guitar is high quality and will last i have been playing guitar for five years so im not a beginner should i get it?

  • when you bend that B string, you put some sick vibrato on that note dude hahaha.

    nice.

  • hes going thru puberty

  • wow... i feel worthless now...

  • @fruitstripes87! I just watched your video's! You have a really long way to go,to even coming close,to playing as awesome as this youngman

  • @dontduckwithme1i was a lot worse back when a made those videoes, yes i know he is very talent it probably better than me at BLUES. im saying i can play more genres of music than him thats why i think i might be a little bit better. i didnt mean to insult you talan your a great blues player i just think my technical playing is better

  • @fruitstripes87 You certainly do not have the skill you are talking. If you do post new videos. I'm sorry but you should goto the channel and watch his Jimmy Hendrix 67th party where he plays voodoo which is not blues at all. plus the people he has played with. Basically the short of this is this. Please stop talking shit just to make yourself look important and then back peddling to try and keep the discussion in your favor.

  • @xavier0307 well i havent put a vid up in a while, and i just think this kid is a little overated, hell hes really good but still he doesnt play jazz, classical and a lot of other genres. im trying to say ive been doing a lot of classical and jazz, and once he can play that ill be more than happy to admit hes a prodigy

  • @fruitstripes87 So Mozart who only played classic was not a prodigy because he did not play other genres? Or how about chet atkins who did not either. Of course he seems overated because everyone and thier momma is talking about him. And the reason for that is his old soul. not his playing. He chose blues like many artists chose a single genre. Your problem is you are too technical in your opinion and not artistical at all. Please post a video.

  • @xavier0307 Don't fuckin' compare him with Mozart or Chet Atkins. Those are two legends, he's not. You dumb fuck.

  • @pipon55 I'm not going to dignify your trolling by barking ignorant insults at you. Rather, I will point out that your reading comp skills are lacking. I did not compare him to those two. I compared the fact they were prodigy's to him. Of course he's not on thier level. But he's a prodigy the same. Natural talent and playing since he was 4 makes him a prodigy. Chet Atkins and mozart both were prodigy's before they were legends. You aren't born with stardom. Oh and I stated that he was overrated.

  • @xavier0307 Thanks for not screaming at me, but I mean just because he has playing guitar since he was 4 years old, doesn't mean that he is a prodigy. Just because Ozzy's wife thought he was awesome, doesn't it mean that he is. I've been playing for 3 and a half years now and I can already now say that I'm better than him. Sure he has got the feel, but he's trying to play stuff that Stevie used to play and that is way of his level.

  • @pipon55 No this is true, just because you have played since that age. But it's not that. it's his talent that he has since he's been playing from that age. He started at 4, by 7 he was playing on stage. There's more than talent there. Now I agree. I have seen your videos, and you do deffinantly have more technical skill. And I did in fact say he was overated. And I never said he was flawless and perfect. But he deffinantly is a prodigy. But he has a long way to go.

  • @pipon55 yeah, but if you want to get better you play things that are out of your level. Not in public of course, but playing stuff you arnt able to play is a good way to get better fast.

  • @rapperSkater Yeah, but you have to slow it down then. This kid doesn't.

  • @pipon55 thats true, but he's self taught. Maybe nobody told him to do that. I think now thats he's some what well known they should hire him a professional teacher. All he needs to do is brush up on proper techniques and he'll be pro in a year or two.

  • @rapperSkater This is my opinion, don't bark at me, but I just don't like this kid's guitar-playing. I think that is many children that can play so fantastic and are at least 100 times more skilled than this kid. I think that it is unfair that just kid will be well-known and not the others, who in my opinion, deservs it more than Tallan.

  • @pipon55 Unbelievable BS. T man is talented beyond his years and there absolutely NOT many children 100 times better than him. That's an idiot talking. I have seen 1 or 2 children play about his skill level ever. I certainly haven't seen any 100 times better. Secondly he is a blues player. That's a fact. Now his style of blues he likes is a type similar to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmy Hendrix. That is a bridge between blues and rock, but still blues. Or didn't you know rock flows from blues?

  • @fruitstripes87!! You have no idea what you are talking about,he is a blues guitarist!! Google your username, and what is going to show up,your YT channel,if your lucky.!! Google TNL,and see how many websites show up with his name.People stop hateing on him,he has played with some very famous guitarist!!

  • @01Timjr i didnt want it to seem that i was hating on him i just... god im shit with words anyway... i never should have posted he comment its been a while could you all just forgive me i was wrong im a cocky peice of shit

  • @01Timjr He's not a blues guitar-player. What he played here was not blues, maybe rock, but not blues.

  • @pipon55 its Rock, that is Based of blues licks and techniques

  • @Teaglex93 Ok, but he's still not a blues-player.

  • @pipon55 How?

  • @Teaglex93 Because he doesn't play blues licks and stuff like that.

  • @pipon55 he is, you just are Jelly, troll :D

  • @pipon55 what is wrong with you? why are you posting on my channel and not here? Are you trying to troll me or something? So you're saying that I shouldn't provide constructive criticism that will ultimately make him better?

  • @rapperSkater haha. i replied to the wrong person.

  • @rapperSkater what?

  • @01Timjr hey, I like how you send me a message and then block me so I cant send one back. I dont know what your talking about, I never was hating on this guy. I think he has talent, he just needs to work on his technique a little bit, it sounds a little sloppy. Thats not hating its called constructive criticism.

  • @01Timjr what is wrong with you? why are you posting on my channel and not here? Are you trying to troll me or something? So you're saying that I shouldn't provide constructive criticism that will ultimately make him better?

  • @01Timjr friend lock? I dont remember enabling that. Ive never messed around with that stuff so I dont know what your talking about. I do know that i cant message you however. I dont know what your problem is. You need to chill. I was not bashing or hating anyone so I dont know why you're acting like this. Also, dont be so ignorant. Just because someone lives in Germany that doesnt mean they are fucking hitler. Most Germans hate neo Nazis and will beat you up if they see you walking around.

  • @fruitstripes87 sorry to bust your balls but you're not close... at all. This kid plays with a lot of soul and emotion, something that really can't be learned.

  • @fruitstripes87 Well, you've certainly got the ego/self confidence of a future rock star, so let that propel you forward and you might just get there... just don't forget to practice, practice, practice. Oh... and treat your bandmates like human beings. Without a decent crew of fellow musicians, it won't matter if you've got skills or not. Good luck.

  • no offense, but.. I have one small advice: more playing, less showing off.. and when you're trying to review a guitar you should play more slowly, let the guitar ring ("real notes", not those scratchy "hard rock" noises).. good luck !

  • Hell yeah young man! You're playin' better than I did at your age, but I was all over the keys back then, I switched over and got my chops in guitar afterwards. A high skill in two instruments is better than one!

I've been scoping out this guitar for a little while and this vid is just what I needed to finish convincing me. It sounds nearly as good as the $3055 models and trust me, with graphite lube and proper care, you don't have to have locking tuners or bridge to keep a PRS in tune.

  • @TManLatz The SE guitars are downgraded, they have no locking tuners, and that goes for this guitar too.

  • @stakleni00 This guitar that Tallan is using for this demo does have the locking tuners. When we recieved it from PRS it had them installed. It's an upgrade that is well worth the investment.

  • @TManLatz Well, in that case it's good to mention that it is an upgrade, that it does not come with locking tuners from the factory. But if you did mention it that way, and I missed it, sorry :)

It is a great guitar though, I'm getting one soon.

  • Holy...Kid, this is simply amazing o.O

  • Is that a Wide Thin Neck or Standard Neck guitar?

  • You can tell that this kid can play, no doubt about it. But he's a perfect example of people that only plays by fast techniques and don't care how aweful it sounds. Slow down and but some feeling into it, learn to hit the notes better.

  • @Mathemoto give the kid some time hes like what ? 11? im sure he'll get it sooner or later

  • @Mathemoto You know, I thought exactly the same thing, it's very messy playing.

And it's all very well for @SolidGOD to say that he's only small, but he shouldn't get into habits like that, I agree.

But it's a great sounding and looking guitar, and he can definitely play (:

  • good lord...how old is this kid??? Makes me look like guitar know-nothing... Time to start practicing more haha

  • wow ur pretty good for a......... i wanna say 8 yr old? maybe 10. ur playins a bt messy, take it down a notch, practice alot, then bring it back, do that and ull b a pro shredder wen u get older

  • terrible demos

  • Oh oh, my little buddy has got a a PRS in his hands. I guess this means my other good freind, Davy Knowles, needs to give the little guy some room. ;) Very neat Tallan!....Roy

  • he s been playing for about 5 years right? hes no better than anyone else thats been playing for that amount of time

  • @TManLatz you've got the 25th anniversary one?or a se custom 24?

  • Dude..! How old are you..... Good job!!! You must really love guitars....

  • @TManLatz Did Prs send you this guitar? because standard, it doesn't, unless installed on your own time......Awesome vid though!

  • omg i want ur PRS!!! its soo kool

  • @frey94 thats like the only thing he got wrong man,hes pretty rockin for a little guy

  • U guys are a sucker for a kid...just because he's 9 does not mean he's good...after 10 times, that lick gets painful...BUT for a 9 yr old..he's definitely better than most!

  • Nice plating but work on your phrasing...your trying to get your licks out to fast....slow it down

  • hahaha Rolf! It does NOT have locking tuners! :P

  • +1

I wish there were though...but compared to its 3K counterpart, i'm willing to give into this downgrade!

  • you are great!! nice how long you been playing? god im buying that guitar one question does it accutally have locking tuners stock??

  • no it doesn't. i just got the same guitar. no locking tuners :(

  • yeah dude do your thing!!!

  • OH my god!!! you're Great!!! and i have to say, YOu Convenced me to buy this prs noW!!! awsome!!! thank you!!!

  • WHO'S PAYIN' YOU?!!

  • ar you sure it comes with locking tuners? I doubt that coz I have one it doesnt have locking tuners unless you buy and replace the stock tuners.

  • now thats my guitar hero :0

  • Nice Mr. Latz I saw that news thing about you here on youtube.....Joe Satch is your inspiration right?

  • You can demonstrate any guitar sounds like Les Paul or even better - you are our current SRW - keep cool - I thank you
