@mermaidinview2 Yep. My 15th great grandparents were Richard de Vere and Alice Sergeaux.

No kidding. That's the same couple in my ancestry chart. I'm descended from their son, John 14081462. I gather an
earlier ancestor, Robert, built the castle. Do you know anything more about
it? Tonight, I'm doing a Google search for images. I was working on family history earlier
today and was reminded of the castle, so I started searching for info. Bye

i live near there its pretty cool we were jumpin on these bords and we dident relise there was a 15 foot well underneath
