It looks like beeing based on a Lem's book "Astronauts", 8 guys (no woman) flied to venus and discovered remains of some civilization. This black mud, as i remember, was only living thing left on this planet.

This was an East-German flick, the type of films that were shown on the Four Thirty Movie by WABC before that slob Oprah Winfrey took over the slot. God, I miss these films!

This film is up there with Forbidden Planet,This Island Earth,War of the Worlds,Conquest of Space,Destination Moon and Invaders From Mars and has a great concept anyone who dont like it is not a Sci Fi fan or they only like modern CGI effects in movies other than that there Ignorrant! they are the weakest Links GOODBYE!!!!!!
