The problem with going into battle as a Medic is that you generally won't have an opportunity to do so. Your teammates need to be healed too often. At least in my experience.

Dude! The medic is NOT an attack class! The syringe gun does a maximum of 15 damage, at close range! (Without Critical hits) You should be running around, Medi-gun out (Or Krits Or Quick-fix) only use Syringe gun if no-one is around, so whip it out and retreat until you find someone else! Also Ubersaw if teamates are attacking and you can hit them without dying, or teamates dying. if your gong to make gamplay of medic, at least know how to play medic. I play as medic, so i know.

@IamKamoKazi Just because the medic is a supportive class dosent mean you can't go on the offence with him. Thats like saying that the only thing a spy should so is sap sentrys and engie buildings. Just because you don't like attacking with the medic dosent mean others can't be good at it. I personally went 57 and 21 going strictly offensive with the medic. I attacked AND healed other teamates.

@IamKamoKazi well going strictly non-offence with the medic is not entirely true. if the medic is used well; it's incredibly powerful to go offensive especially when you have two medics working together....using the ubersaw and uber-charging each other can be very powerful b/c they're the second fastest class. that being said i don't mean every medic should go shooting; but if they can do it well, it should be done. healing AND attacking.

@hayqdueleymucho No class really sucks. Each of them will suit better one person. Some people are good at all of them because they fully understand HOW and WHEN to use their special habillities, and others will just pick the one wich's gameplay is more simple to them. That's why most noobs - me included - usually select the Heavy, for he is the one that has the most simple gameplay possible (you can use him better when you're a pro, but "walk and shoot" is pretty straight forward and easy to do)

Nice to see a fellow medic healing more than just one or two select ppl. You whipped out the needle gun a lot more often than necessary imo, and you often reloaded and switched weapons before it finished, even when there was no one around. You ended up having to reload when there actually was an enemy in front of u. I'd like to see you play since the new update come out, nothing more satisfying than getting free charge with the ubersaw :).

Well, the thing is, a heavy is ridiculously powerful, but he can't dodge, so he needs a constant health supply. He's excellent for keeping a key target safe (in that case a medic) and the medic keeps him alive so he can keep destroying everyone. The only problem is that a heavy is slow.

They cant heal themselves, however, they have a really high health regeneration rate and they have a gun that steals life from enemies when you shoot them with it.

They get a half point, which is actually quite a lot. If you heal the people on the front line and have some skill, you can easily be on top of the scoreboard. Medics are awesome.

The medics are quite possibly the best class. The entire team depends on medics. ONE medic can make or break an entire battle sometimes. Tonight I was playing a game and was number 2 on the server in points (180) after only 2 hours of play...MEDICS RULE!!!
