even better than the stupid home patrol to.. how can they a scanner that you cant even program a freq in unless you use third party software.. so if you dont have a pc your screwed..lol
I have a PSR-600 and I'm gonna buy a 996xt within the next 6-months, as I've been wanting to have both scanners for a real side-by-side comparison anyway. I plan on keeping both models but I originally bought the PSR-600 a year ago because it was so much less expensive than the 996. Although it's still cheaper, I really want a 996xt to go with my GRE model so I can see for myself which I like better. I sure love the display on the 996 though :)
