I own the Logic3 JiveBox [the cube looking one in middle of the video], look up its professional reviews, its crystal clear sound at stupidly high volumes is incredible. It easily controls a party in a house full of people. it has 7 speakers: 2 tweeters 4 mid range and on whopping woofer at the bottom. when i turn the bass up on this thing it vibrates itself along the floor. Its the one to buy!

I work on a 50,000+ watt PA system with JBL Vertec arrays and 6 18's. The CD player we use has a little iPod dock that pops out. We can hit 120+ db on that system from FOH. Let me know when one of the ones you showed me on here can do that...

It is incredible how people come on here to comment on how their car systems pumps out X amount or about their home theater system... These are specialised iPod docking systems. I just ordered the iK501, very excited! I am replacing my Logitech Z560 system with this, due to its portability and clarity of sound. For those who love debating quality and sound, I personally I think the Kicker system can rival most due to the fact it is under US$200.

iKick is too sick i've had it for about a year now and wouldn't trade it for anything. I can go outside about 3 houses down and hear the bass when it is at around 25/40! There is an internal, smaller subwoofer driver inside of the "sub unit" most likely. That is how nearly all of the logitech units I have owned are. The one I use now has an 8 inch radiator with a 4 inch driver inside of the unit.

I dunno, my iFi doesn't distort at all till the last 2 or 3 clicks of the dial. They are def. louder then the z-5500 i use to have, excpet the bass on the z-5500 was louder than the klipsch, but the klipsch sub was way more accurate and the speakers just plain ole' got louder

Maybe he just got a somewhat defective unit, but the Kicker, overall, just sounded better, and my piano teacher and friend thought the same also, so I know that I'm not just sceptical because I own the Kicker.

But, anyways, the Klipsch should sound WAY better since it's 200w over 40w, and it is much much bigger. Try putting that size into one that is the same size as the Kicker, and I will guarantee that the Kicker will sound better.

Personally, I think that the Kicker iK500 sounds better than the Klipsch ifi. I have heard both in the same place, and the Kicker was able to get louder without any distortion. I have played piano for 10 years, so my ears can pick up on certain things that other people can't hear. My buddie with the Klipsch thought that they sounded the same, but there was a small distortion coming from the Klipsch system. I checked the wiring, and everthing was perfect.

I agree with you, but the iFi is on a whole another level. The iFi has way better sound reference quality plus there 8" subwoofer. Now the kicker is up there i tell ya. Its comparable to the bose sound dock, and the other ones that have a subwoofer built in it. I was actually quite surpise when i got to test the ik500. For a square subwoofer or passive radiator (says both on kicker site) don't know which one, anyways its a very tight and clean sounding.

I had the Klipsch ifi and wasn't impressed. The sound just wasn't that clear and crisp to me. I got the Logitech z-5500 and WOW! The sound is amazing! Very loud and very clear sound. Watching a movie through the z5500 is better than my 1000 watt dvd home cinema! Buy the Logitech z-5500!!
