ok seriously, she is amazing. i have jumped 2.9 and i look practically the same way. obviuosly it is working so back off. she is doing just fine... you go girl u and ur horse look awsome together. you have a good connection with him.
i love how people are like pick your hands up and thats not 2'9. like i ride a horse that you need low hands with or she'll kill you. and i ride another one that you need to actually pull on inorder for him to jump. your horse is beautiful and you look amazing!
Thank you! That means a lot. This video was taken more than a year ago so these people's comments could not bother me in the least bit but this was very sweet, thanks :)
@xoxlarkxox if you're telling me to bring my shoulders down, then you don't know what a two point is either. and i think i'll listen to my grand prix trainer instead of you. but thanks.
@H0RSECRAZYx32 I do my two point like you..theres no need to do a big two point for jumps under 3ft. thats what my trainer said and shes a grand prix rider too.
@xoToxicJumper Haha yeah. I see these little kids jumping 2"9 on there ponys who do big two points. But there ponys are maybe 14hh? I mean, theres no need for a big release when the jumps only 2"9. Now I can see doing a pretty good release when there 3"6 up. But not 2"9
@H0RSECRAZYx32 Yeah you are doing two point correctly hunn dont worry. Everybody thinks you throw yourself forwards! WHY MUST PEOPLE THINK THAT! If you do that, you throw the horse off! The angle at which your hips fold should match the angle of the jump, and HORSECRAZYx32 has mastered this perfectly.
awsome job!!!! can i suggest something without offending you aor anyone else?? try to lean just a little farther over the jump! and georgeous horse!!!!
Hope you don't mind my reply but horsecrazy is completly right, it is mostly her part to get some flexion, at the moment shes doing a fantasic job with good form and forward movement. a frame comes later x
well, you should know that when doing bouncesyou should not release too much otherwise your horse can over exagerate the landing and get an awkward stride and come in deep or long to the next jump, which can result in a knocked rail or refusal. Also, my horse was very fresh that day, so this excersive was to keep him under control and not get ahead of himself.
You are a good rider but your horses hind legs look really stiff- that worries me...
Also is you want him to look even prettier than he already is, tuck his head in a little bit!

I love how people are saying that's not 2'9 and that you should release more.
Are you there to judge how high they are?? They look like 2'9 maybe bigger to me.
And over a 2'9 fence you don't need an over exaggerated 2 point. She is obviously NOT interfering with the horses movement.
Great riding!
