I just received bad news at work and got really angry at the moment.
10 minutes later came back here and my mind rejoiced and forgot about the whole argument. I ended up with a smile on my face after all. Thank you VGO for making my day.
About the screaming and laughing et cetera, if there's any point at which you would in a video game music concert, surely it would be the Mario section?
I do hate the lack of concert etiquette that seems to prevail in most performances nowadays. However, like the good reverend Sheppard Book said, "There is a special place reserved in hell... for people who talk in the theater (or cheer through a performance.)"
Let me tell ya, it sounds great but...I coulda used more woodblock. I gotta have more woodblock! Guess what. I got a fever....and the only prescription is more WOODBLOCK!!
@TurboNemesis Excuse me, we are listening to an orchestra, this is not an lady gaga concert or some boy band of some sorts. I'm there to listen the music and enjoy it, not to jump or dance to it.
@TurboNemesis made up etiquette? it's a matter of CULTURE AND EDUCATION (look at the strings and brass players, they are not laughing at the goofyness of the crowd and the guy who call the guy's name), not etiquettes.
I believe the people who go to an orchestra concert are adults who know better than some kid in his teenage years who likes to believe hes the king of the world and likes to disrupt an well stablished culture. Go to a lady gaga or beyonce concert, this is not your thing kid.
What makes me most happy about this, is that they are actually having fun on stage.
These songs are part of a generation worth remembering and they're having so much fun playing it, the reason why video games were invented. Keep it up guys :D

I don't see the big deal, I used to play in front of people (granted it was high school concert band) however I enjoyed it when the crowd got into our music. Lets us now we aren't boring them to death lol. And it seemed like a really good crowd too!

@SpekkioMofW Play! did an awesome rendition. there is also another group from Canada that goes all the way to Mario Galaxy. I think its just called Super Mario Music Medley.
