  • I got a speedex from my grandpa which he bought it new 1960. I'm restoring it here in Youngstown, Ohio. Not sure what model. s14, s17, s19???? frame number is 211A. Briggs motor 5 1/4 hp if I remember right. It has a front mounted mower deck with it's own engine. thanks, Steve

  • Howdy, i am in need of some information and so far i think you might be the best of help to me. i just bought a Garden-All JR at auction last week and the transmission is junk. i understand the garden-all and speedex are "related" and was hoping you could tell me somthing about the transmissions. from what i can tell, it looks like a model A ford trans. thanks

  • I live in Olive Branch Ms. I bought and restored a 1631 Speedex. Mine was built sometime in 1977. I use mine all of the time around my house. Love it.

  • I have a speedex 1631 that was given to me. It was highly modified to have hydraulic rear and belly implements but there is a video of me on it on my channel. I must say I recognize your engine....I have the same one one a pressure washer that I bought not that long ago so obviously that isn't the original engine, but mine still does have the original engine and it runs great! I am the second owner, the old man got it new in 1975 and gave it to me in awful condition, but I fixed it up!
