As I said, we learn American English mostly through the internet. Who uses the internet the most?

That's right. Young people.

Most stuff that is new and comes from over the pond mostly stays with its original -American- definition so you get anglicism.

So you are right, we use a lot of them. But not all of those anglicism are from America.

And we learn British English because Britain is where English originated, as you might have heard.

As far as I know the US does not have a national official language, right ;)

No don't get me wrong, but that's the basic of it.

We are not anti-english at all. For 98% of us English is the second language we learn (the other 2% learn French first, like in Saarland which is close to the French border).

But the synchronization industry in this country has always been very big and successful.

You always have the option to watch a movie from overseas in its original language at your next cinema though.

Ich habe viel Zeit in Deutschland verbracht und ich komme meistens zu Recht mt den Deutschen, aber heutzutage hoere ich so viele bloede Klischees ueber Amerikanern und den USA von den Deutschen. Wenn du's genau wissen willst, er hat nicht den Sprachfluss und die perfekte Melodie für british english - manche Worte bleiben unverbunden oder werden "zu einfach" und zu oberflächlich ausgesprochen. Ich finde, man merkt, dass er längere Zeit mit Engländern zusammengearbeitet, aber eben nicht dort gelebt hat. Perfektes Englisch verlangt ja auch keiner und Ich weiß nicht, ob ich es besser könnte, aber ich höre es zumindest deutlich.
