The real issue with africa and all poor 3rd world countries really is the intervention of developed countries. If we were to stop all aid to these countries and focus on our own country those countries would have to pick themselves up. That is how white nations were able to become what they are today. They had no help from no one else and as such they had to work hard or die out.

In Japan some island have a larger population while others islands have small population count. The availability of the land and food is limited for a certain amount of people; because the island can't produce enough. People make the argument well you can import, which japan mostly does. In return they make million in electronic to fuel the world, but Africa doesn't have that.
