Depois de 150 horas de jogo jogando por mais de 1 ano consegui platinar o jogo. Este Jogo valeu a Pena pra mim é o melhor RPG já feito, Parabéns ATLUS.
i got the demons souls platinum trophy.....i have to say it is not very hard....just for beginners...if you get used to the controls and how the game works...and if you skill your char correctly...you should be able to get it done
im thinking of getting this game or dragon origins.... they both look pretty fun. but this looks really hard but im willing to play a game until i beat it but is it that frustrating as the reviewer says it is? i dont want anything impossible.
@shadowkill555 that`s bullshit. i dont think its too hard,and to be honest,you dont need to die that much. but it is intense. i mean,i WILL die if you let your guard down,that`s for sure,even if you`re facing a pie.
@shadowkill555 its not to bad if you upgrade your weapons, but trust me once you beat a boss you will have the since of accomplishment that you have never had before.
if ur dark world tendency new enemies will appear, such as red phantoms, tougher version of enemies that can rlly be total dicks at times, in dark world tendency monsters have a higher chance to drop upgrade stones and less healing items, white world tendency is opposite, more healing less upgrades, in the game when the enemies get tougher they will also give u more souls and red phantoms drop a shit tone more souls then normal mobs, some weapons may also be tougher according to ur tendency
the game only gets harder if u die in human form, because the "world tendency" gets darker, if u kill bosses they get easier cos the world tendency gets whiter, if u die in soul form nothing changes, in soul form u have half health (or 75% health with a special ring) u can get to human form if u either use "stone of ephemeral eyes", killing bosses or be revived by a friend online (with a miracle), there are certain places where u can only access if ur white/dark world tendency
I would like this game so much more if there where checkpoints or savepoints but there aren't sadly .. Once u die ( and u will ) u gotta start all over again and u lose you're souls
Ok iv played about 15 hours of this game so far and to anyone wondering if this gem is going to be too hard, it's not too hard. It's a difficult game. And I've died alot already. But I haven't really gotten mad at the game. Even though its very difficult, its never unfair or cheap, the controls are so solid, that when I die, I know its my fault. Its really about trial and error. Granted, I'm still in the beginning of the game, I made it to the second world, and I'm sure I haven't even experienced how difficult this game will get. But so far, I think this game is brilliant. Not for the faint of heart though.

This game is hard if you don't know what you're doing. In the beginning you might struggle and almost give up, but hang in there, because it draws you in, and it really pays off.

@shadowkill555 there are no difficulty settings on this game. but like the other two people have said, all you need to beat this game are time and patience. and there is an incredibly helpful demons souls wiki online that you can use if you're stuck or don't understand something.
@deliman there is a slight difficut mode, if you constantly died a lot. The monsters gets harder and harder until it reached the peak that it can kill you if you are not careful. Early in the game, you get adjusted to the controls and dodging is an important factor in the game.
its only hard for people that dont have patience and carefull, you just need to be careful where you're walking, how you would attack and things like that, and then its pretty easy
@koolaid20100 This game is nothing like Diablo 2 or Diablo 3. If Diablo 3 looked like this, it wouldn't even be Diablo. The stylized graphics give it a crisp and clean look that I find very awesome. Diablo 1 and 2 were both very similar to Diablo 3's art style, Diablo 3 just has a lot more polygons to work with.
Besides, this art style wouldn't work with the gameplay style of Diablo.

damn when watching this, there is some things i miss in dark souls that is in demon soul. i mean, first, the ''let you see other ppls spirit is not as good as in demon soul its just feels rushed, . the grafik isnt nearly as high as in demon souls' + demon souls look like it has more polish overall . or is it just me, im lvl 28 and playing dark souls atm.

do you want the greatest tip of all time on how to get far in demon's souls. the moment you die, shut off your ps3 in the back. you will start very close to where you almost died and you will have all your souls in tact. i learned this by accident while i was throwing a tantrum at the difficulty of this game. this cheat works every time, but just make sure you shut down your PS3 BEFORE the game over screen.

@mcrem32 Speed runs are always using clever ways to beat the game as fast as possible. Both Demon's and presumably Dark Souls have a LOT of gameplay. I've played Demon's Souls for about 100 hours and I still don't have the platinum trophy. And I love every second.

Its in 2-2 in the end by the far side of the lava up in a long cave, in the cave stick to the right. Google demon souls walktrough if u need more directions. I been using it alot its a good sword (My first playtrough)

@1SWINZ1 Oh and Ghouls n' Ghosts for Sega Genesis is also one of my favorite games, and part of the reason I loved Demon's Souls is that it's basically the 3D, next-gen equivalent to that game (a bunch of levels with varying environments, imaginative enemies, a protaganist who doesn't stand a fucking chance, etc). If you like Demon's Souls you'd probably love that series too.
@mujuma in the storm of shrines land second boss. 2 hits and i'm dead even after leveling up many. and third boss in first land like a big knight at the top of the stairs. now i have started again with the character that starts with soul arrow spell and rare ring maybe i do better this time i hope.
@excop360 Old Hero? take advantage of him being blind, as I said I'm a Magic based character so most Bosses I use fireball/soul ray. Maybe try leveling up your magic? I can't help with him in sword based combat sorry, I never tried.
Tower Knight you mean? or the Penetrator? Tower Knight is easy once you understand his attack patterns, and again I used magic on the Penetrator (probably getting that wrong), I never got hit.
Royality is the best class for beginners, Soul Arrow works wonders.

i wish this was on pc.. in a world where games have become so easy that you hardly ever die and are as easy as 123, this game, much like its ancestors looks very deep and for a thinker... my only complaint is that it's in 3rd person unlike, again, it's ancestors which were all 1st person and drew you in that much more because you can't see what's right behind you. btw those of you kiddos out there saying this game is like blah or blah, do your home work, the Kings Field line was out long before
Here's all you need to know about Demon's Souls: The game thrives on getting a satisfaction out of overcoming think-fast & huge adversity. It also awards the more focusing cautious careful gamer more than the "run & gun" rambo noob - although there is a 45 min speed run of someone doing just that but you have to EARN that. The little story there is is epic & due to this lack of story & more focus on gameplay a easier difficulty would hence FUCKING RUIN THE GAME SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THAT!!!!

@username5749 skyrim is better than dark souls...but i like demos souls better than oblivion. sky rims gameplay will be amazing and will have so much more content than dark souls but dark souls will be very good:)

This game may be hard, but as one who has beaten it almost twice, I think I am qualified to say that it is still FAIR. This means that although you will die many times in trial-and-error, once you come up with the perfect strategy and find good equipment (although the later is not completely necessary) you have a much higher chance of overcoming whatever obstacle blocks your way. This is different from other un-fair games that are hard no matter how hard you work. In other words: it's rewarding.

do you want the greatest tip of all time on how to get far in demon's souls. the moment you die, shut off your ps3 in the back. you will start very close to where you almost died and you will have all your souls in tact. i learned this by accident while i was throwing a tantrum at the difficulty of this game. this cheat works every time, but just make sure you shut down your PS3 BEFORE the game over screen.

@mcrem32 Speed runs are always using clever ways to beat the game as fast as possible. Both Demon's and presumably Dark Souls have a LOT of gameplay. I've played Demon's Souls for about 100 hours and I still don't have the platinum trophy. And I love every second.

@randomshytFTW lol.....there are many rpgs who are hard on the hardest lvl....demon's soul is not hard....its unfair......it just isnt.....there are only 2 arguments from demons souls cause its god....1. the atmosphere (yes the atmosphere is great) and 2. its hard...wow haha common....

Its in 2-2 in the end by the far side of the lava up in a long cave, in the cave stick to the right. Google demon souls walktrough if u need more directions. I been using it alot its a good sword (My first playtrough)

i have to ask, how does that invade system works ? if i'm logged in psn the time i play the game, can i be invade by some lv99 pro anytime? or is there a "online" option in the main menu?

@gomes1258 I'm not a "pro" at the game yet, I'm currently on my 4th New Game though.
I usually play offline, I dislike being invaded when I'm trying to get Pure White Tendency.
Players can invade you at anytime (except in the Nexus) if your playing online, you can't turn it off unless you switch the Internet off.
I think your only invaded by those around your level and once you finish a world I believe they don't appear.
Check a wiki for more detailed descriptions.
Btw, level 712 is the max.

@1SWINZ1 Oh and Ghouls n' Ghosts for Sega Genesis is also one of my favorite games, and part of the reason I loved Demon's Souls is that it's basically the 3D, next-gen equivalent to that game (a bunch of levels with varying environments, imaginative enemies, a protaganist who doesn't stand a fucking chance, etc). If you like Demon's Souls you'd probably love that series too.

@mujuma in the storm of shrines land second boss. 2 hits and i'm dead even after leveling up many. and third boss in first land like a big knight at the top of the stairs. now i have started again with the character that starts with soul arrow spell and rare ring maybe i do better this time i hope.

@excop360 Old Hero? take advantage of him being blind, as I said I'm a Magic based character so most Bosses I use fireball/soul ray. Maybe try leveling up your magic? I can't help with him in sword based combat sorry, I never tried.
Tower Knight you mean? or the Penetrator? Tower Knight is easy once you understand his attack patterns, and again I used magic on the Penetrator (probably getting that wrong), I never got hit.
Royality is the best class for beginners, Soul Arrow works wonders.

i wish this was on pc.. in a world where games have become so easy that you hardly ever die and are as easy as 123, this game, much like its ancestors looks very deep and for a thinker... my only complaint is that it's in 3rd person unlike, again, it's ancestors which were all 1st person and drew you in that much more because you can't see what's right behind you. btw those of you kiddos out there saying this game is like blah or blah, do your home work, the Kings Field line was out long before

Here's all you need to know about Demon's Souls: The game thrives on getting a satisfaction out of overcoming think-fast & huge adversity. It also awards the more focusing cautious careful gamer more than the "run & gun" rambo noob - although there is a 45 min speed run of someone doing just that but you have to EARN that. The little story there is is epic & due to this lack of story & more focus on gameplay a easier difficulty would hence FUCKING RUIN THE GAME SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THAT!!!!

Im so hyped for Dark Souls now, I cant wait to relive my Demons Souls moments, this game stayed on my PS3 for 2 straight months I beat it 7 times, got to SL 192 and got the platinum :D I just hope Dark Souls lives up to it.

This game may be hard, but as one who has beaten it almost twice, I think I am qualified to say that it is still FAIR. This means that although you will die many times in trial-and-error, once you come up with the perfect strategy and find good equipment (although the later is not completely necessary) you have a much higher chance of overcoming whatever obstacle blocks your way. This is different from other un-fair games that are hard no matter how hard you work. In other words: it's rewarding.
