  • Awesome, I want a Stihl so bad!

  • Top video, about the only video me n the old man have seen actually cutting some hard fuckin wood!! All the others are bloody yank oak and pine

  • last saw is 120cc, must be heavy

  • Nails in the ground? That's a new one, lolz.

  • Bloody ripper demo mate. Wish I had seen this a lot sooner. That stubbie opener worked a charm. Cheers!

  • What kind of beer was that?

  • finally somebody who know's what they're doing

  • not sharp

  • damn that was the best beer opening trick I ever seen

  • 1. damn I love chain saws

    2. that was pretty cool. opening a beer with a chain saw!

  • Nice saws....even better Beer opening technique. 5*'s mate.

  • ok that beer opening was hands down da best worth wating for lol look like work drink more work less that my maoto

  • it's hard enough on chains cutting australian hardwood, but opening a bottle of beer is just likely to blunten the chain.

It only take a micro second to blunten a saw blade. And in australia there are already enough hazards like nails in the ground

  • I'll leave this one just to show how much of a tosser you are.

  • @ihaveairlockers Maybe try not sticking the bar in the ground?

  • the best beer opening trick I've ever seen hands down

  • this is a pretty chainsaw rofl

  • ROFL you've never opened my bottles like that lol

  • hehehehe i like the Smiley ;-)

  • I love Eucalypt, man its like the best wood to burn.we dont get eucalypt her in the pacific northwest,so when i went down to cali for family i brought back a truck and trailer load.i went through 1 1/2 cords the whole winter like 6 moths i burned almost all day for a 2500 square foot home.

  • I have heared that Eucalypt grows in a lot of places in california, so it's true. You are right it is good fire wood. My dad used to love IRONBARK (type of eucalypt) for fire wood. It burns astonishingly hot but you have have to be careful not to use it too much because it can burn out the fire box in your wood heater!!!!!!!

  • One further comment, isn't it a prick of a wood to split with an axe. You have to hit it in just the right spot and mega hard so your axe head doesn't jam.

  • O fuck that dude i just used a splitter.lol

    -ac

  • I take it from that you agree..It's mega hard, a splitter is definitely the doorway to progress with this stuff. Unless you have ARMS LIKE A RUSSIAN BOMB THROWER. Or are some kind or sadist

  • HAhah yes man agree 200% i tried to split one of the rounds that had no knots with a splitting maul and i broke the handle when i hit it.lol so i had to take the splitter and split the head out.haha

  • For those of you not from Australia, this guy is right .EUCALYPT (also known as gum) is AS HARD AS AN IRISH BARE KNUCKLE BOXER. Cool trick with the bottle. Might try that myself. Well done!!!

  • I would really like a block of that wood. Must be awesome for woodworking.

  • Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Eucalypt is a pig of a wood to work. Hense no fine furniture is made from it. 1 It's extreemly hard. 2 It splits and warps excessively as it dries which can be frustrating if you have spent hours achieving the desired shape. On the upside though, it does have a beautiful grain and does have it's uses,But, No good for woodworking, I had a look at your channel and was very impressed with your skill. Keep up the good work!!!!!

  • Thanks for the comment MrMagoo. I did not realized this type of wood is this troublesome to work with. We don't have Eucalypt here, Oak is the hardest I've worked with, and that type of wood also warps and cracks a lot. So Eucalypt is even worse.. A solution might be to let it crack and warp first, see what usable parts are left, and then process it. Thx for your comments on my vids! :)

  • That' an awesome trick! Opening a beer bottle with a chainsaw, now that's talent!

  • nice work.. i love using the 084 for this along with iron bark and box.. makes mince meat out of it :D

  • nice

  • blunt

  • Man, I would love to put my dual exhaust big bore MS 440 with its chizzle chain through that for fun.

  • That 880 is a hawse.....next time, less music - more saw....but way awesome nevertheless.

  • will that stuff split?

  • yeah, but not by hand, you can get most of it with a large hydraulic splitter

  • a youtube user said he used a big maul he said he split 10 pieces and it had took all summer long

  • You Kiwi's rock never seen a saw open a bottle of beer with out breaking it!

  • Nice visor, use it!

  • safety glasses are adequate for that job, me thinks....

  • u only need the visor when u know stuff is gonna fly in your direction.

  • A brand new chain on a very hard wood dulls faster then uncle Jim with gas, i'm serious, not even one cut and your pretty much dull. You gotta break in a new chain, temper it then sharpen it

  • I thought the 044 would blow thru that wood faster. Looks like a bottle of Stella Artois or Becks beer! ;) Good to see you wearing chaps and a helmet for the video.

  • redneck beer opener lol GO STIHL!

  • Make sure you keep those chains sharp because it took you a while to cut all that wood. Nice vid though.

  • lol..all chains were brand new, read the info a bit more closely.....just was a demo on a particulary hard piece.

  • Oh sorry. I normally don't read information on videos. Sorry for waisting your time.

  • hard ass wood!

  • STIHL RULES

  • someone could not belive, it is so taff to cut such wood. But it is so.

Once I cut well dryed european hornbeam and I was surprised how hard it is. It is the hardest wood in all Europa.

  • Dolmar power rules - Oh, and only fat women drink Pure Blonde....ya fat woman

  • It ain't pure blonde, and I ain't buying a Dolmar..lol

  • dolmar....ahahahaha nice joke:D

  • What a stick puller - I think he needs to get a real chainsaw.....Nothing beat the power of Dolmar.
