  • What is his name?

  • OMG it looks like my friends horse Domino except he lost his spots as he got older (weird)

  • at the start when you were lunging him on the flat, the strap running along the top of his neck, was that to stop him from getting his head down to buck?

  • They can still buck with their head up, but it basically stops them from broncing properly. xx

  • CAn you come home to me and laern my horse to spring!! :O

  • He very pretty! :D

  • very gorgeous! i love this cross of breeds! when you start riding him make sure u give him a lot of rein while jumping, he stretches neck a lot.

  • hi, i came across this video, your horse is STUNNING! He looks great!

F13G13 << the stirrups are best left hanging, as it lets them experience it for when you are riding them.

i just would like to say that you should try to have him a bit slower and more controlled over the jump, only a constructive comment.

    thanks, hes stunning!

    x

  • ehm.. (i'm not really good at english) and sorry but i really don't want to be mean or something but in the beginning your.. things where you have your feets on the saddle where hanging. that can disturb the horse or make it scared. And when you jumped the horse where still running ïn the cirkle, try get him run straight before and after the jump.

sorry if you don't want these comments. I mena averybody works with their horse as the want. :) good luck in the future

  • good luck on training

  • haha that's funny what countrygirl says cos brooke's mum is a professional breaker and trainer etc so you don't know what you're on about :)

  • thankss

    George :)

  • wish you great progress

  • aww thanks babesss =]

  • hey that was great. i'm breaking my pony in now and i've started off with lunging him but he seems to have a slight problem with leaving my side and hasn't quite conqured circles yet haha. any tips?

  • thanks, they al do that to start ff with, i tend to keep them on smaller circles to start off with, and keep the lundge whip between you and him, acting as a barrier. Hes obviously is a little insecure being left on his own running in a circle- dont blame them really. Lol, just make the circle bigger the better he gets.

  • hes really cute. its really cool when you can buy a unbroken horse for really cheap, and when he's broken, he's priceless.

  • thanks, hes pricless to me- i absilutly love him, hes a starr :)

  • i hate it when people refer to ponies as 'projects'

  • For ShuffleBass,

Its fine refering to ponies as projects as they are ponies that need to be worked on... just say like i need to work on george for a while.

He is an amazing pony and to think that was 7 months ago and look where you nare now!

I heard you are selling him please give me details on my page, I live in north wales and i am very interested in him as i do BSJA myself.

    Please reply

Please can you tell me his height in hands?

My sister is in juniors in BSJA and i'm in seniors

  • thankss:)

Hes Full up 148cm, arab x knutstrab, rising 6 this year, double clear newcomers,& a 4th, 2nd 105 open (BSJA)

    Price depends on home :)

    xx

  • do you even know what projects means. if you did then you wouldn't be upset about it... (this was too ShuffleBass)

  • cute, good mover and jumper!

  • THANKS :)

  • thast awosme!! its alwyas good to take on a challange!!! good luck with him!!!

  • aww thanks

  • Good on ya Most people just By Ready made ponies There bond isnt That strong Now look at yous two Bond stromger than ever he knows you mre than anyone =]]

  • thanks :)

i like to think so :P

  • Love him!!!!! Your soooo lucky!

  • thanks babe :)

  • Your welcome!~!!! How long have u had him????

  • 6 months :)

  • Awsome!!!

  • Hey fair play to you buying a four year old thats unbroken, if ye need a hand gis a shout . Im a breeder and a schooler

    Bye

  • thanks, hes broken now (:

    and doing well

    x

  • Otherwise he is amazing!!! Cute as heck. I am currently training my 8 year old TB to jump he is doing great!!! I use poles to slow him down.

  • thanks.. in this vid his head gets left behind and doesn't lift at all.. not good ..haha

but hes no v.good just fcasing to get him more careful

    xx

  • he's a cutie! He looks like he gonna be a very cute jumper!

  • why was it not broken at 4, theyre usually broken at 3, I have had an already broken 4 year old, and if it isn't broken why the hell are you jumping it

  • he was left, and basicly abandoned in a field, and hes not it :P.

and its up to me though aint it. If i was that wrong to jump him then how comes hes turned out so good ??

  • your sooooooooooooooooo lucky to have a horse

  • thanks

  • You should probably train him to slow down. He is rushing overe those jumps. And he will get bored of jumping fast if you continue him in circles non stop.

  • we have.. look at his new vids

  • wow he is only gorgeous! great jumper he could go far!!! well done!:-)

  • thanks

  • Its great that your doing so well with him, but surely if it was his 2nd and 3rd time being lunged its a bit quick to start jumping? I know that when i train younger horses I focus on the flat work because thats the base of everything else....

  • ty hun

Well he didn't have the most amazing paces, and here he was completely unbroken, so you might as well start with the basics of what they are going to do in later life if you get me.

But i was a little impacient, i really wanted to see what his jump was like and when i saw it i was like omg, not gd at all ..haha

  • haha i know what you mean its like I CANT WAIT!! xx

  • momandem tbh i think her lunging is fine, if you look at the video's of the pony now you will see her hard work and how she does not 'mess' i don't think anybody would avoid a great horse like this. and just because the horses you have trained can jump big does not mean you are a fab trainer like you are making yourself out to be, you could be but i don't know over youtube do i? it's more the horses ability when you talk about size of the jumps.

  • I believe you, you just said he was 4 in the desc? but i guess he might be older in this video, anyway there is no point arguing i was just voicing an opinion but i think you are doing a great job!

  • 4 or 5 isn't young for showjumpers. they are usually (if they are very talented) jumping round the sunshire tour, which is 1.40s.

thanks, but im just saying that fair enough you could say that he was too young at 2-3 but hes not, cause hes stopped growing a while ago :P

    x

  • I don't want to be a 'Real bitch' or anything but should you reeally rush him into jumping at such a young age? shouldn't you focus a bit more on his flatwork, just wondering, but he has a great jump, when i am a bit older i want to get a young horse to bring on myself.

  • Hes not young, anyways me n mum are pro at breakin in horses, if ya dont belive me then youd see the new vids and then you would realise what we have done

  • you so should go for it, you should get a horse to bring on now, as long as you have the skill and the time, i had a project pony with my sister when we were 8 and 10, youre never to young

  • Awh, looks like someone likes jumping =]

    your doing a good job!!

  • Aww He Looks Like Her Really ENjoys Jumping :

  • thanks

  • wow thats so cool that he was so green! i could never train a pony to jump... is he going to be a pony jumper or hunter?

  • aww hes sweet i'll check out ya more recent vids now!

    xxx

  • aww ty 'x

  • thankyou

    i will

    x

  • Did you get him from cambridge sales

    ?

  • Nope

    x

  • he looks great and looks smooth to jump your gonna have fun on him keep up the good work

    x

  • thanku

look at his new vids.. hes very different now :D

  • I love his spots :P

hes a quick one isnt he?

    Hes gorgeous x x x

  • thanks

yeh.. hes broken and everything now, and still fast :P

  • He's gorgeous!

  • thanks

  • Sweet horse!

    Nice jump!

    Got abit of speed lol!

  • wow, hes beautiful

  • thanku

  • aww very good!!just a tip, when you lunge over jumps you should let him take one or two strides after the jumps before pulling him round on the circle.

i'm thinking of buying a 'pony project' have you done it before, and was it really hard or easy??
