How to do the Chip Twirl

It's much easier to pull down the middle chip with your middle finger, while holding the two outside chips with your thumb and index finger. In any case, pulling the middle chip out is the easiest part, and it still took me a couple of hours to get it down. Learning to twirl the chip without dropping it took much, much longer to learn. This is a difficult trick for any novice. It's extremely irritating to learn, but is very rewarding once you do.

@SirCheezey esfandiari is doing it wrong! you don't have to use the pinky at all in this trick. watch other tutorials and you will see that you should spin the chip while holding it between the index finger and the ring finger. that looks better and makes the spinning part easier but can make the first part a little bit more diffucult.
