I once took a cruise to playa del carmen and went to this park where there were huge iguanas walking around and ran behind it and as it was running from me I yelled stop and he stopped. and then I yelled smile as I lifted the camera and the iguana turned and faced me. then as soon as I snapped the pic he ran off. Yep, I'm guilty of making kissing-noises at animals, no matter what their species. Most of the time, they don't respond unless there is food present.

I have a trick that gets any cat to come right up to you. You squat down and start rubbing the tips of your fingers on one hand together like you have a little treat in your hand. You have to be quick to pet them though, cuz once they figure out that theres no treat, you have a pissed off kitty on your hands.
