Tarja can make her voice sound in diferent ways, and it prooves that she controls her instrument and also that she has got creativity when doing different arrangements with different voice textures. You can notice that, not only in this version, when she does soft ligher vocals, and then operatic vocals again in some parts, But you can also notice this fact in other songs like: The Siren, or Bless the Child, among others.

I made the same mistake.. Nightwish made a re-recording of this song.. But this is Tarja, because its to operetic to be Anette, not saying she sucks, but her vocals arent anyway near as high as Tarja's, they both rock.. not trying to start a war/argument, so dont go replying to my comment with Anette/Tarja wars please, that goes to all of you! thanks

Tarja sings this song in 2 diferent ways, being this one more soft and lighter, also a bit slower, and the other one more heavy on the vocals and a bit faster.

I think Tuomas wanted to give something new to the song and a new video too, and Tarja made it giving multiple textures to her voice, notice that Operatic timbre is still there when she wants!

She sings Live both ways (in my videos she sings like in the first version. After 2005 she usualy sings like in this version - see End of an Era)
