And A vortech supercharger is lame. The only supercharger to get is a 3.6L Kenne Bell twin screw. That will push any stock srt8 to about 700rwhp.

How do you know the gto is stock? There's no description about it so stop saying it's stock. Idiots, goodness. I have a 300 srt8 and I beat any 6.0L gto, ANYDAY. And yes the srt8 is a tad faster than the 6.0 gto. Get your facts together.

i have a 06 gto stock and my best friend has a 300 srt8 stock and i smoked him from 0mph, 30mph, 70mph, and 80mph. gto hands down is wayyyyyy faster (if manual)

When you look back at the older goats you see mean looking cars, with great style and flare. What you get in the re release is a hot engine (LS2 + Manual trans) in a fat, round car with no identity... Its more than just HP.

throughout the entire race the 300 n gto were at the same position about 12 ft apart, imagine the 6.0L with an extra 50 + HP stock n thats not even including what u would be gettin out of the 6.0L with the same mods so overall id say an extra 20 HP for a total of 70 HP more, guarantee the 6.0L goat would win.

2004 gto ls1 5.7 346hp at the flywheel factory 2005 2006 gto ls2 6.0 ls2 that srt8 is a 6.2 and the supercharger is not factory so with that being said quite the differance in hp luxery sedan or not

Congrats to the SRT8 for barely beating a Naturally aspirated GTO with a 5.7, that is probably only putting about 340 HP to the wheel..LMAO GTO FTW!! Throw a paxton in the GOat with just 5 psi, and watch it trample the 300C

@Ensilvanation the gto has 400hp and the 300srt8 has 425hp...both engines are naturally aspirated, so i dont know where your goin with that...and the 300srt8 weights almost 500lbs more than the gto, so given both the power to weight ratios, it was close and fair....and i have driven both cars, and i can tell you that 300srt8 is very fast for a 4200lb luxury sedan...but in the end, to each his own

that is a bullshit ass fucking tape that srt8 is not pushing 480 to the wheels. I would bet a million dollars on it. And if it is then the gto is supercharged because the 6.0 gto and the srt8 are about even stock. The gto is a couple hundred pounds lighter than the srt8. The 5.7 gto are slow.
