@Hinloopen No. Rotrex can be picked up off ebay for 650. Piping and cooler, your looking at a 900 build. Plus, the point is to supercharge an M42..which is freaking awesome!

so long as you keep the boost down to about 6 psi and you make sure the car gets enough fuel you should have no problem. If you want to do a head gasket on it you can order a metel head gasket but you have to know the exact engine code for those cars bmw made 4 different 4cyl motors.

The intake comes with the kit. Its a DASC supercharger conversion kit...and its sexy ;)

where are you located? I would recomend you to the guy that did mine. He is located in queens ny.
The supercharger he did for me was a custom one, but i would recomend you go turbo and keep the boost low. its a lot cheaper and easier.

Yes I can make up a kit to run about 6psi on a stock motor, it will all depend on how well maintained your motor is.
