1st and 2nd times through the 34 levels are hard (2nd time through is REALLY hard). But after that, the game is a piece of cake. Just keep racking up points and lives. Ball almost never moves too fast to keep it in play. It becomes so easy, the thrill is gone. It's really more fun to play the 1st time through the 34 levels.
i got over 500,000 with 96 lives but I dropped my phone and it got messed up, now im at 400,000 and had 76 lives but my trackball is fucked up so i need a new phone lol
well that looks like an annoying problem. luckily (and thankfully/sadly?) i havent gotten to that point yet. i can only get as far as like level 16, in spite of all my efforts :) lol, oh well, im not much into it. you cant put much effort into it waiting in line at the walmart...

Interesting bug, but the Brick Breaker on my Pearl does not display the number of times that I've gone around ("80x"). I've lost track of the number of times I've been around, and am curious to know if I will experience this bug too when I hit 80x.
Maybe you have a different version of BrickBreaker. Mine is version 4.2, as seen under Options, Advanced Options, Applications. With any luck, your version doesn't have this particular issue, which I hope is the case.
Not exactly. Bricks hit by Laser count for 20 points (instead of 10). Gun hits count for 50 points. Each capsule caught is also worth 50 points. But you're in the right ballpark. Needless to say, it took a few weeks of playing every now and then to rack up my score.
If anyone wants a new brickbreaker challenge, start a new game and try to get to 1,000 points by the end of level 2.
It took me like 3 months but it is possible (I got 1,010),
Obviously you need a few guns.

Nice. Not quite that far, 68,000 and 23 lives. I'm level 4 and don't see me losing anymore. Makes the time on a plane fly by!!!!
