you are all on the loosing side, reject Jesus Christ and you will wind up in hell. only two choice heaven with god or hell with out god, there is no middle ground.
never forget hell is a real physical place, the evil one does exist and demons are real.
if you do not except Jesus Christ as your saviour and lord then hell is where you will spend your eternity, just think about that,
@bishop8000 well inform me how all this shit happen lol! science is always changing and the last one I read was something about a singularity and then a explosion and some billions years and these planets started shittin life all over the place lol!
@IlC4RL0SIl Please pickup any science text book published after 1960. But even if we did lack scientific knowledge of how things came to be, that wouldn't imply the existence of a wizard that magicked it all into existence. If you believe in god, then the burden of proof is on you to show evidence for god that convinces others, not on us to disprove it.
@bishop8000 I respect that you don't believe in my magical God but I don't believe in your magical theory that the universe and life began out of nothing with no cause, no reason, no purpose when clearly the universe and life acts intelligent and every life has a purpose and for this the only rational explanation is a creator, a higher intelligent being,. GOD
I'm impressed that US Presidents 2, 3, and 4, plus Lincoln, were not only God-free, they wouldn't pander to those who insist on their leaders being believers in fairy tales. I doubt anyone could be elected today without being seen as a regular churchgoer; such is the progress of the American people as a whole.
"If you're not a theist you're an atheist. It's binary; it's not a sliding scale." Those words are false, not only false; they're downright scarey! Words like that, in other contexts, have been the trigger for untold horrors thoroughout history. Grow up and wise up, Chuck Colson, or whever said that!
Thanks for uploading this video, I didnt realise some of those people were athiests. I will pray for the ones that are still alive, that they find Jesus.
@realzoomy Why waste your time with prayers and faith? Prayer is just wishful thinking, you're not making any diffrence in the world besides yourself when you think you're doing something good when you ain't doing wack shit.
@realzoomy You simply put God in there when you don't have a better answer, Which God are you talking about? Did Vishnu watch over you? Krishna, Zeus, Odin,?
@realzoomy Why don't you believe in Zeus? Odin? How do you know that Zeus will not send you to tartarus for not believing in him? Several of our weekdays are named after Viking gods. Wednesday was named after Wodin (Odin), Thursday: Thor; Friday: Freya (god of fertility). Even the planets in our solar system have the name of old roman Gods.
@MarcusEFN Why don't you love Jesus? He came to earth as a baby, to save the people, and he is gentle and kind, but the human race murdered him. He is alive you know.
@realzoomy I don't love, and I don't hate your Jesus either. I don't BELIEVE he exists! The human mind is very complex and powerful, it creates hallucinations and visions sometimes. And if you feel very odd you should see a doctor. There is no proof of your God's existence, just like there's no proof of Leprechauns.
@MarcusEFN How do you know YOU exist? What are you? Atoms whizzing around! What is an atom? Empty space, electrical impulses! Check it out for yourself - scientifically you are just a lot of warm air! I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to explain. We are walking miracles! Do you think we just "evolved"? Do you think selfish promiscuous old Zeus made us?
@realzoomy We are not walking miracles! ''Do you think we just ''evolved''. Yes, It's been proven scientifically several times, Our closet living relative, the Chimpanzee. Humans and Chimpanzees only have 1% diffrence in their genes. We are both descended from a common ancestor who lived 6 million years ago. That common ancestor was not a Chimpanzee, and it was not a Human. It was something else. It evolved into two seperate species, One branch which led to Humans, and the other branch to chimps
@MarcusEFN The apes were created by the same loving hand as we were. Do you not think that God loves them as well as he loves us? But we were given authority over all the earth - we were given our big brains for a reason. And we've raped the earth! We were made for love, and we've been greedy and hateful.
@realzoomy We evolved based on our ability, to survive and adapt to the changing climates. Some animals need to run fast to survive, some need camoflague, some need to be very large in size, some need to live in social groups with big brains. Which are Monkeys and Apes. Humans are apes. Our large brain allowed us to come up with new ideas for survival. There is no evidence for your God! Humans are now just the current state of life on this planet, there is obviously life somewhere else in space.
@MarcusEFN I can't prove that God is alive and that he cares for us to you, but I know he does, because he helped me and was so kind and gentle to me. But I cant prove anything, so perhaps I had better just go away.
@realzoomy You are carrying a burden of proof, present the evidence required to make your claim a fact. There is no fact that God(s) exist. If you claim that you are right, you MUST present evidence to support your claim. You can't prove that there is a God. Because God(s) obviously don't exist, just like Unicorns, Santa, Tooth Fairy, Leprechauns.
@MarcusEFN I can't! I am just a woman who got abused as a chiuld in a Pindown childrens home, and then got abused in the secret family bcourts. I know it was Jesus who rescued me from the ones who were persecuting me, because I wept and prayed to Him to save me, but how can I prove it was him? You wouldnt believe me anyway, if I tried for a year and a day.
@realzoomy Does God speak to you? Because when people talk to God, it's called prayer. When God talks back it's called schizophrenia. You're insane, and you need to go and get some treatment. Don't waste your time praying, Get up and do something with your arse!
@MarcusEFN Of course God speaks to me! It wouldn't be any use me talking to Him if He didn't answer back, would it? That would be a mad thing to do, to talk to someone who wasn;t actually there! But he IS there. I can't see the wind but I know thats there, and God is like the wind. And theres no need to be vulger, why are you so angry with me? I think Athiests are the worst bigots of all, you get mad at people who talk to the Lord. I havent attacked you, so why be so horrible to me?
@MarcusEFN I think you are being a bully actually. I dont know why you are bullying me. I have been called nutter all my life because I got abused as a child, and now you are saying it to me as well, its hateful! Just because I am a Christian you think you can say what the hell you like, and that is bullying. And you Athiests are always moaning on about Christian bigorty, but just look at you!
@realzoomy Atheist countries are the most peaceful in the world, look at Norway, Sweden and Japan. Japan has the lowest Rape rate in the world! If you think you can say that all Atheists moan about Chrisianity. I might as well say that child molestation is a tradition of the Catholic church. If you hear voices in your head you should see a docotr, I'm not trying to be funny. You hear voices and you see things! You're insane! You need to see a doctor! God is not like the wind, that's bullshit.
@realzoomy I don't hear and see strange things my friend. Where'd you get that information from?
God is not like the wind, are you saying it's like the wind because we can't see it but we know it's there?
You can see the effects of the wind, just like you can see the effects of gravity by dropping something. Even someone taking a step is proof of gravity.
@realzoomy If there was evidence and a reason to believe in God(s), I'd be happy to believe. But, there is not a shred of evidence at all. I'd like to end this conversation as I can predict that it'll continue for quite a while. Have a good day sir/m'am.
@MarcusEFN I can't give you any evidence, sorry. Anyway, I think the wisest thing, as you said, is to end the conversation, as its going nowhere at all. Goodbye.
@MarcusEFN The human mind is just a big bag of protein! Look at yourself - what do you see? You remind me of one of those people who will only listen to one sort of music. You can't hear the harmony in any other, because you don't have ears to hear. We are far too amazing to have not been created with a loving hand. We are capable of the most sublime thoughts, the most heroic acts! Open you eyes brother!
@realzoomy I'm open to any music which i like, By destroying this planet and wiping out several species. Do you call is amazing? We are Weak, If your God designed me.Then i'd like to ask him why i have one tube that i use for breathing and swallowing food, Did he design humans to choke themselves to death? Did he design humans to have very weak bones, Slipped discs, Hemorrhoids Lower back pain, Weak knees, and weak jaw muscles? The reason for our success is because we evolved based on our ability
"Separation of church and state" was intended to protect the church from the state, not the state frrom the church. Atheists don't want you to know that. Ruins their whole day.
@cincyblows No, that is incorrect, but that never stops Christians from circulating it as fact. Thomas Jefferson described it in these words "'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church & State." It was designed to protect BOTH the state and all religions from collusion.
@bishop8000 Oh, so the Pilgrims didn't come over here to escape the strongarmed C of E then? Sorry. Let me make a call: Hello, History? Bishop8000 says you're wrong and that you need to revise yourself in order to be more politically correct. Apparently, 84% of Americans just aren't bowing and scraping to the 14% who are atheist. Yeah, I'll tell him. No go, bishop -history says American majorities have a problem being ruled by statistical minorities. Not very democratic or something.
I kind of find it ironic that there are so many American atheists, and Jewish ones at that. Given that the christian God seems to love Jews and Americans the most.
@mrtadreamer The biggest myth commonly believed in the United States today, other than religion itself, is that we live in a christian nation. The US was formed specifically to be a secular society with a sharp separation between the nation and the religions of its inhabitants. You sir are either a troll or extremely ignorant. Quite possibly both.
@mrtadreamer If you want to live in a Judeo-Christian nation, you'll have to take a time machine to medieval Europe or take a plane to modern Israel. Otherwise you're screwed.
@mrtadreamer If you want theocracy in action...go to Iraq, Iran, or any other country in the Middle East. Don't try to turn America into a terrorist nation. I for one would vote to remove those who wish to silence those trying to uphold the constitution and send them to Iran to live for a year. See how you like theocracy then.
You might also reconsider your "definition" of atheist. I know atheists prefer it for a number of reasons but it is not the primary or (as I think the comments here show) even a sensical definition. Deists are atheists? Really? Here's the def of atheist. Anyone who takes the position that god(s) do not exist. You can come up with your own definitions that suit you but understand others won't buy into that.
It is a definition you can find in any dictionary you'd like to look at. I have researched the etymology. Atheist has different meanings thru the millennium, (including once referring to Christians. As it has different meanings today. What it has NEVER primarily or solely meant is the default of non-theism.
@owheydusoapsk You're simply wrong. The greek prefix a means not. Theist means one who believes in god. If you believe in god, you're a theist. Anything else, including "I don't know", and you're not+theist, a+theist, atheist.
So a pedophile would be an appropriate way to refer to a caring parent of kindergarten teacher? pedo-child, phili-brotherly type of love. More than that, colloquial usage is as, if not more important than deconstructing the word. So you are simply wrong. Not that your definition isn't used, just that it is one of a couple. And there is nothing "objectively" more correct about your definition.
@owheydusoapsk I'm tired of discussing this with you. I think you're wrong. I believe the word means "not theist", I've cited my reasons why, and that's how I'm going to use the word. If you don't like it that's tough shit.
Who says you are an atheist if your not a theist? That's ONE interpretation of atheist, theist. An atheist is not simply the default for people that do not label themselves theist. Atheists love to draw a strawman definition of what an atheist is and then label people who may or may not self-label as as atheist as atheist. That John Adams was an atheist is simply a lie. And I'm sure many of the other famous "atheists" have much more complicated beliefs than atheism. This is sad but typical.
@owheydusoapsk One does not need to self-identify as atheist to be atheist. It's a description of what a person is whether they adopt that label or not it still applies to them. So you fail.
@bishop8000 Adams doesn't even meet your pedantic definition of atheist! Look it up he doesn't meet your definition of atheist. You just reposted this vid from someone else didn't you? You didn't research any of this.
Angelina Jolie does not identify herself with any single religion, nor has she declared herself an athiest (contrary to the claims of some atheist websites) The subject of religion has not often come up in her interviews, so her beliefs about such things as God and the afterlife are not well documented.
P.S. You don't need to "declare yourself an atheist" to be an atheist. Many atheists have never used the word, but if you lack a belief in god, you're an atheist whether you know it or not.
John Adams was not an Atheist. Neither was Jefferson or Madison or Lincoln. Taking quotes they made out of context proves nothing since they also made positive quotes about religion. As for the Hollywood Atheists, they aren't role models for a lot of us. In fact you can have them.
"The time-honored "out of context" card... You must be religious." Your are taking huge liberties in calling all these people atheists. Did you research any of this or just take someone else's propaganda. And attacking anyone who points out your full of shit with "You must be religious", shows you have no defense and must go right to ad hominums.
@owheydusoapsk OK listen up dingbat, the hypocrisy of your post is that you criticize me for claiming to know the religious affiliation of people long dead and for using ad homs. Then you insist you know that John Adams was a theist and call me "full of shit." Get out a piece of paper and a pen to take notes: When you're criticizing someone it's best not to emulate exactly what you're criticizing them for, moron.
Christ all these technicalities....we have a common enemy here people, so let's stop bickering. If you don't believe in a god you're an atheist. That's it and no more needs to be said
Well, you may be right about some of these people. For sure Jodie Foster, Lesbian just might be an atheist. Billy Joel was married like 5 times, so sure He Might Be a Red neck, as well as an Atheist.
Great video, though neither Carl Sagan nor Albert Einstein were atheists, in fact Carl Sagan resented the title of being an atheist. They were both agnostic. Carl Sagans own words: "An atheist has to know a lot more than I know. An atheist is someone who knows there is no god. By some definitions atheism is very stupid." When asked about his religious beliefs he replied, "I'm agnostic."
You didn't read the definition of atheism that I cited at the beginning of the video. Carl Sagan was both an agnostic (because he wasn't certain) and an atheist (because he lacked a belief in a god). His wife was recently interviewed concerning Carl Sagan's beliefs and she said that the only reason Carl shied away from the "atheist" label was because his publicist told him that using it was akin to career suicide. Of course he was an atheist, you dumbass.
@bishop8000 You dumbass? That's the typical, very sad behavior of someone posting comments on youtube. There are similiarities between atheism and agnosticism, but that does not make them the same. It seems apparent that God does not exist, it's the logical conclusion every human should be able to make. Yet it's important to apply the scientific method and accept the fact that we cannot be absolutely certain that a diety does not exist. That's something Sagan and Einstein both understood.
You really are a dumbshit aren't you? I didn't say they were the same. That was either a nice straw-man or you have a very serious reading disability. I'm not certain that Santa doesn't exist (technically I could be wrong and I know that), but I lack a belief in Santa because the evidence is woefully inadequate to make me believe in Santa. I'm an agnostic-santa-ist and an a-santa-ist at the same time. Do you see how that works space cadet?
Technically then, it is also inadequate to claim that both Sagan and Einstein were atheists, when in reality it would be more accutate to say they were agnostic atheists. You have with certainty claimed that everyone in the video are atheists. Agnostic atheism is not a form of atheism, it's a form of agnosticism, therefore by logic it is not just inadequate to claim that Sagan and Einstein were atheists, it's directly incorrect. For the record I'd challenge you to an intelligent test any day.
@Calibaniofornication No. Once again, agnosticism and atheism are different things, they answer different questions, and a person can be one or the other or both or neither. One is not a form of the other, retard.
"For the record I'd challenge you to an intelligent test any day."
Unless the mind-blowing stupidity you've displayed here is just an act, I'd hand you your ass.
You need to look up the definition for agnosticism and realize that there are many types of agnosticism, wikipedia would be a good place to start looking, specifically the category "types of agnosticism".
You need to look up the definition for soup and realize that there are many types of soup. You can have beef soup, chicken soup, noodle soup, and lots of others. But you can also have beef, chicken or noodles all by themselves without inclusion in any soup. That's a fact which you continue to deny. Not all beef is a type of soup. Get it douche? Atheism isn't a certainty that there's no god, it's lacking a belief in god. One more inane comment out of you and you're blocked.
Indeed! and in no way can you ever consider any kind of soup to be a kind of stew even though they may appear similiar! Now go ahead and block me, it will only strengthen the obvious fact that you are wrong.
Gnosticism and Theism answer totally different questions. Gnosticism/agnosticism explains what you KNOW. If you're certain, you're gnostic, if if you're not-certain, a-certain, you're or agnostic. Theism/atheism goes to what you believe. If you believe in a god you're theist. If you don't believe in a god, or if you're not sure, you're a-theist. You can be any combination of the two as they answer different questions. Now gtfo and never come back, you are beyond my help.
To the jackasses saying Einstein wasn't an atheist, read the quote at 3:43 Also, like the video says, Einstein refers to nature whenever he used the word God, as he had often expressed.
@TheBrendanMcCoy Try again. Are you saying you speak for Einstein, because the quote only says he doesn't believe in a personal god, not that he is an atheist. Here are some more quotes:
"In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views."
"I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist."
95% of scientists are non believers, people who made your life more comfortable christians! This video also proves how the American presidents downgraded over the years. Why does Obama still say 'God bless America' when 15% of Americans do not believe in god? He should be neutral like his great predecessors.
@Calbenmike To think of the horror that real people in the real world face every day because of their belief in abhorrent religious mythology. The irrational fear of torture in hell, and the irrational bribe of bliss in heaven are great examples.
@bishop8000 No horror will be greater than for a person who dies in their sin that realizes they had numerous times to repent and turn from their sin and turn to God and as a result will suffer pain and speration from God for all eternity in Hell. To describe it in detail will do nothing to dissuade your blinded mind, so I'll save myself the time. You must repent and turn to God who loves you so much that he sent his only son Jesus Christ to die so that you may have eternal life.
@bishop8000 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributesare clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20.
In other words, look outside, look at human life, look at the sustaining of the entire universe, there is PLENTY of evidence; you just refuse to believe.
No one had to teach you or me to do wrong, it came natural. Why? SIN NATURE.
@bishop8000 There is evidence for God, you just refuse to believe it. No one had to teach you or me to do wrong. Why? Everyone is born with a sin nature. Jesus' ressurection proves of life after death.
@Calbenmike Morality has been explained better by evolution. Individuals who worked together did better than those who didn't, and they therefore supplied more of their genes to the next generation. Try again.
@bishop8000 Grasping at straws. God establishes a moral law on which to determine what is good or evil. The question that no believer in evolution can answer is this: You can't get something from nothing. Where did the first forms of life come from? They had to have been created. If Darwin were alive today, he'd be utterly embarrassed at his theory and would immediately condemn it. God exists. He loves you. He provided a way out of your sin. Know it and believe it.
@Calbenmike You're a creationist and I value my sanity so you're blocked. Educate yourself before the weight of your ignorance collapses to form a neutron star.
All over the universe atoms of matter and antimatter are coming into existence from nothing. They're called vacuum fluctuations. A perfect vacuum is less probable than some roughness. Even if we didn't know that, saying that atoms were created is a cop-out without first explaining where god came from. There's no god. You = Epic Fail.
@Calbenmike I really have a difficult time understanding how someone can really believe that, but can I ask you--and I'm not picking an argument I'm genuinely curious--don't you think that would be a terrible reality: that there is a being, no matter the name, who is planning to take people (from Einstein to a friendly non-religious postman) and torture them for ever, and ever, and to eternity beyond?
I just want to ask you, how can you believe that, and hold it in your moral outlook?
@Neanderthalcouzin It's not hard for me, a believer in Jesus Christ to understand at all. The Bible teaches that man (human beings) are inherantly evil and are sinners. Sin is disobeying what God commands. Jesus came and died on the cross a sinless man so that we may be forgiven of our sin, if we ask for it. Mankind must repent/turn from their sin and turn to God who sent his son Jesus to die for our sin. God doesn't send anyone to Hell and torment, but the person who rejects Jesus does.
@Calbenmike Thanks for the response. But it sounds like this God created us sick and commanded us to be well, on pain of eternal torment. The justification of the psychotic move to torture people for all eternity is essentially 'well, I didn't create you perfect....' That doesn't seem logical. If you bred a strain of cattle to be kind of unpredictable, would you beat them to death for just being the way you made them?
I wouldn't consider Einstein an example of American atheism, even if he lived his last years there, most of his important work and his education was in Europe.
@TheQuetzalkoatl He was born in Germany, but it doesn't matter... "was from" is the key error in your argument, and I've already discussed it in this forum ad-nauseam. Where did Einstein go to? What country was his home?
Do you not understand the concept of irony? Gates is one of the atheist heroes and is a plutocrat with a god-like ego--the phrase if of course a riff on the chief maxim of Islam. You can appreciate the spelling of "Profit" here I hope.
@RPenta i dont think atheists see themselves as smarter, its just that the sheep make us look smarter, heres hopeing science can find the gene that leads to rediculous superstitions, then we can evolve together, without the anger of an imaginary jealous god.
@twistc7 It also preaches a lot of disrespectful things such as mistreatment of gay people, submission to authority, the inequality of women, belief in the absence of convincing evidence. I respect you as a person, but no, I do not respect your beliefs or what they preach.
@jojojosmart "A fool has said in his heart: there is no God." - Consider the source.
"Who are you giving thanks to today? " - My friends and family, the same as you. You don't need to be superstitious to appreciate what you have in life.
You don't necessarily need to direct your thanks to a person or deity. 99.9% of the atoms in the universe will never grow to life and consciousness as ours have. Isn't it enough just to be thankful that you're lucky enough to be alive? There's no god, but that doesn't mean that we have no reason to be thankful, on the contrary. The real universe as revealed by science is at least as wonderful as the make believe one described by superstition and religion.
@bishop8000 --- I would like to hear your prayer of thanks. It might go something like this. "I don't know who to thank, but I'm thankful for my friends. I'm thankful for the random chance of combined atoms and molecules that I'm here. i don't know why I am here, but I'm thankful for the cook who's helping me live a little longer. I'll be dead soon and I don't think I'll be too thankful then.
@jojojosmart Here's a news flash: people who don't believe in god, don't pray! Surprise!
"i don't know why I am here, but I'm thankful for the cook who's helping me live a little longer. I'll be dead soon and I don't think I'll be too thankful then."
Everyone please read that quote again without the ironic tone with which it was actually intended. He's absolutely right. This is the only chance we'll ever get to be together, we're lucky to be here at all, I am deeply thankful that we are.
@merce4702" these people are now burning in hell ater living a rich and happy life", the fact you believe this and still call your god loving is what really amaze me.
What worries me is that we have people like you who are allowed to vote, possess guns, have car keys, buy alcohol &c. How can you believe the superstitious crap which you've written?
@merce4702 no there is no hell and how is your god loving and merciful if he sentences people good people to a horible eternal torture sheerly for not accepting his mythology with no evidence
All brainwashed, stubborn, illiterate Bible-beating "Christians" in YouTube have one thing in common:
NONE have their own videos as a contribution.
Their "message" to everyone is always one of woe and doom. Nothing positive or uplifting comes from them. Listen to them or go to hell! They are the wise ones, you are a fool unless you hear their 6th grade drop-out rants.
According to the Scriptures, could these chronic malcontents be nothing more than a bunch of little demons?
“We recognize no Sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus!”
[April 18, 1775, on the eve of the Revolutionary War after a British major ordered John Adams, John Hancock, and those with them to disperse in “the name of George the Sovereign King of England." ]
“[July 4th] ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty.”
[letter written to Abigail on the day the Declaration was approved by Congress]
"Without Religion this World would be Something not fit to be mentioned in polite Company, I mean Hell." [John Adams to Thomas Jefferson, April 19, 1817]
“The general principles upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity…I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and the attributes of God.”
@zigzagzoo12 Read carefully. Believing religion to be useful is very different than believing it to be true. Appreciating the morals of Christ, is very different from believing that Christ actually existed.
"In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views."5
-- Albert Einstein
Can it get more clearer??? And this is just ONE example of the many people which you used their quotes out of context.
@zigzagzoo12 This is a terrible example. Einstein did not believe in god, he used the word god to describe kind of mystery. It's you who's quoting him out of context.
@zigzagzoo12 false, please read something that EINSTEIN wrote, dont take it from a christian page, he received letter from religous poeple because he didnt believe in any god
Great video, rated as a like. Quick query though: Jefferson and Lincoln (and maybe one or two of the others) are IIRC the subject of a controversy over whether they were atheists or deists. I was just wondering, do you have any quotations from them that clinched that one in your mind (which I'd love to read), or did you just think, might as well bung in the likely maybes? Which, BTW, I'd be totally cool with.
I'm afraid I don't have any quotes to clinch the deal so I would classify them in the "likely" category as well. For Lincoln, there are were eye witness sources who claimed at the time of the civil war that he did not believe in god, but that's hardly conclusive. In either case, keep in mind that they were both public figures at a time of far less public tolerance toward atheism. If they were atheists, I wouldn't expect there to be proof. What we do have however, is very telling to me.
you are all on the loosing side, reject Jesus Christ and you will wind up in hell. only two choice heaven with god or hell with out god, there is no middle ground.
never forget hell is a real physical place, the evil one does exist and demons are real.

god saves all who come to him.
GOD BLESS.

@MarcusEFN They are demons, fallen angels, and dragged mankind into a war with the Creator. Zeus is Satan. They hate God.

@realzoomy Zeus is from Greek Mythology, that's way older then Judaism and Christianity.
Zeus was not the devil, Zeus was the king of Gods. And his son, Hercules. Was the one who killed the hydra.

@MarcusEFN Why don't you love Jesus? He came to earth as a baby, to save the people, and he is gentle and kind, but the human race murdered him. He is alive you know.
realzoomy 2 months ago
@realzoomy I don't love, and I don't hate your Jesus either. I don't BELIEVE he exists! The human mind is very complex and powerful, it creates hallucinations and visions sometimes. And if you feel very odd you should see a doctor. There is no proof of your God's existence, just like there's no proof of Leprechauns.
MarcusEFN 2 months ago
@MarcusEFN How do you know YOU exist? What are you? Atoms whizzing around! What is an atom? Empty space, electrical impulses! Check it out for yourself - scientifically you are just a lot of warm air! I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to explain. We are walking miracles! Do you think we just "evolved"? Do you think selfish promiscuous old Zeus made us?
realzoomy 2 months ago
@realzoomy We are not walking miracles! ''Do you think we just ''evolved''. Yes, It's been proven scientifically several times, Our closet living relative, the Chimpanzee. Humans and Chimpanzees only have 1% diffrence in their genes. We are both descended from a common ancestor who lived 6 million years ago. That common ancestor was not a Chimpanzee, and it was not a Human. It was something else. It evolved into two seperate species, One branch which led to Humans, and the other branch to chimps
MarcusEFN 2 months ago
@MarcusEFN The apes were created by the same loving hand as we were. Do you not think that God loves them as well as he loves us? But we were given authority over all the earth - we were given our big brains for a reason. And we've raped the earth! We were made for love, and we've been greedy and hateful.
realzoomy 2 months ago
@realzoomy We evolved based on our ability, to survive and adapt to the changing climates. Some animals need to run fast to survive, some need camoflague, some need to be very large in size, some need to live in social groups with big brains. Which are Monkeys and Apes. Humans are apes. Our large brain allowed us to come up with new ideas for survival. There is no evidence for your God! Humans are now just the current state of life on this planet, there is obviously life somewhere else in space.
MarcusEFN 2 months ago

MarcusEFN 2 months ago
@MarcusEFN Of course God speaks to me! It wouldn't be any use me talking to Him if He didn't answer back, would it? That would be a mad thing to do, to talk to someone who wasn;t actually there! "Separation of church and state" was intended to protect the church from the state, not the state frrom the church. Atheists don't want you to know that. Ruins their whole day.
cincyblows 4 months ago
@cincyblows No, that is incorrect, but that never stops Christians from circulating it as fact. Thomas Jefferson described it in these words "'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church & State." It was designed to protect BOTH the state and all religions from collusion.

You can come up with your own definitions that suit you but understand others won't buy into that.
owheydusoapsk 6 months ago
@owheydusoapsk That's an incorrect definition. Research the etymology of the word. An atheist is a person who is not theist. It's binary.
bishop8000 6 months ago
@bishop8000
It is a definition you can find in any dictionary you'd like to look at. I have researched the etymology. Atheist has different meanings thru the millennium, (including once referring to Christians. As it has different meanings today. What it has NEVER primarily or solely meant is the default of non-theism.
owheydusoapsk 6 months ago
@owheydusoapsk You're simply wrong. The greek prefix a means not. Theist means one who believes in god. If you believe in god, you're a theist. Anything else, including "I don't know", and you're not+theist, a+theist, atheist.
bishop8000 6 months ago
@bishop8000
And there is nothing "objectively" more correct about your definition.
owheydusoapsk 6 months ago
@owheydusoapsk I'm tired of discussing this with you. I think you're wrong. I believe the word means "not theist", I've cited my reasons why, and that's how I'm going to use the word. If you don't like it that's tough shit.
bishop8000 6 months ago
@bishop8000
Fair enough, I feel the same way.
owheydusoapsk 6 months ago
Who says you are an atheist if your not a theist? That's ONE interpretation of atheist, theist. An atheist is not simply the default for people that do not label themselves theist. Atheists love to draw a strawman definition of what an atheist is and then label people who may or may not self-label as as atheist as atheist. That John Adams was an atheist is simply a lie. And I'm sure many of the other famous "atheists" have much more complicated beliefs than atheism. This is sad but typical.
owheydusoapsk 6 months ago
@owheydusoapsk One does not need to self-identify as atheist to be atheist. It's a description of what a person is whether they adopt that label or not it still applies to them. So you fail.
bishop8000 6 months ago
@bishop8000 Adams doesn't even meet your pedantic definition of atheist! Look it up he doesn't meet your definition of atheist. You just reposted this vid from someone else didn't you? You didn't research any of this.

Angelina Jolie does not identify herself with any single religion, nor has she declared herself an athiest (contrary to the claims of some atheist websites) The subject of religion has not often come up in her interviews, so her beliefs about such things as God and the afterlife are not well documented.

beadheadbrassie 10 months ago
Great video, though neither Carl Sagan nor Albert Einstein were atheists, in fact Carl Sagan resented the title of being an atheist. They were both agnostic. Carl Sagans own words: "An atheist has to know a lot more than I know. An atheist is someone who knows there is no god. By some definitions atheism is very stupid." When asked about his religious beliefs he replied, "I'm agnostic."
Calibaniofornication 10 months ago
You didn't read the definition of atheism that I cited at the beginning of the video. Carl Sagan was both an agnostic (because he wasn't certain) and an atheist (because he lacked a belief in a god). His wife was recently interviewed concerning Carl Sagan's beliefs and she said that the only reason Carl shied away from the "atheist" label was because his publicist told him that using it was akin to career suicide. Of course he was an atheist, you dumbass.
bishop8000 10 months ago
@bishop8000 You dumbass? That's the typical, very sad behavior of someone posting comments on youtube. There are similiarities between atheism and agnosticism, but that does not make them the same. It seems apparent that God does not exist, it's the logical conclusion every human should be able to make. Yet it's important to apply the scientific method and accept the fact that we cannot be absolutely certain that a diety does not exist. That's something Sagan and Einstein both understood.
Calibaniofornication 10 months ago
You really are a dumbshit aren't you? I didn't say they were the same. That was either a nice straw-man or you have a very serious reading disability. I'm not certain that Santa doesn't exist (technically I could be wrong and I know that), but I lack a belief in Santa because the evidence is woefully inadequate to make me believe in Santa. I'm an agnostic-santa-ist and an a-santa-ist at the same time. Do you see how that works space cadet?
bishop8000 10 months ago
Technically then, it is also inadequate to claim that both Sagan and Einstein were atheists, when in reality it would be more accutate to say they were agnostic atheists. You have with certainty claimed that everyone in the video are atheists. Agnostic atheism is not a form of atheism, it's a form of agnosticism, therefore by logic it is not just inadequate to claim that Sagan and Einstein were atheists, it's directly incorrect. For the record I'd challenge you to an intelligent test any day.

Calibaniofornication 10 months ago
You need to look up the definition for soup and realize that there are many types of soup. You can have beef soup, chicken soup, noodle soup, and lots of others. But you can also have beef, chicken or noodles all by themselves without inclusion in any soup. That's a fact which you continue to deny. Not all beef is a type of soup. Get it douche? Atheism isn't a certainty that there's no god, it's lacking a belief in god. One more inane comment out of you and you're blocked.
bishop8000 10 months ago
Indeed! and in no way can you ever consider any kind of soup to be a kind of stew even though they may appear similiar! Now go ahead and block me, it will only strengthen the obvious fact that you are wrong.
Calibaniofornication 10 months ago
Gnosticism and Theism answer totally different questions. Gnosticism/agnosticism explains what you KNOW. If you're certain, you're gnostic, if if you're not-certain, a-certain, you're or agnostic. Theism/atheism goes to what you believe. If you believe in a god you're theist. If you don't believe in a god, or if you're not sure, you're a-theist. You can be any combination of the two as they answer different questions. Now gtfo and never come back, you are beyond my help.

@Calbenmike To think of the horror that real people in the real world face every day because of their belief in abhorrent religious mythology. The irrational fear of torture in hell, and the irrational bribe of bliss in heaven are great examples.
bishop8000 1 year ago 17
@bishop8000 No horror will be greater than for a person who dies in their sin that realizes they had numerous times to repent and turn from their sin and turn to God and as a result will suffer pain and speration from God for all eternity in Hell. To describe it in detail will do nothing to dissuade your blinded mind, so I'll save myself the time. You must repent and turn to God who loves you so much that he sent his only son Jesus Christ to die so that you may have eternal life.

@Calbenmike Morality has been explained better by evolution. Individuals who worked together did better than those who didn't, and they therefore supplied more of their genes to the next generation. Try again.
bishop8000 1 year ago
@bishop8000 Grasping at straws. God establishes a moral law on which to determine what is good or evil. The question that no believer in evolution can answer is this: You can't get something from nothing. Where did the first forms of life come from? They had to have been created. If Darwin were alive today, he'd be utterly embarrassed at his theory and would immediately condemn it. God exists. He loves you. He provided a way out of your sin. Know it and believe it.
Calbenmike 1 year ago
@Calbenmike You're a creationist and I value my sanity so you're blocked. Educate yourself before the weight of your ignorance collapses to form a neutron star.
All over the universe atoms of matter and antimatter are coming into existence from nothing. They're called vacuum fluctuations. A perfect vacuum is less probable than some roughness. Even if we didn't know that, saying that atoms were created is a cop-out without first explaining where god came from. There's no god. You = Epic Fail.
bishop8000 1 year ago 3
@Calbenmike I really have a difficult time understanding how someone can really believe that, but can I ask you--and I'm not picking an argument I'm genuinely curious--don't you think that would be a terrible reality: that there is a being, no matter the name, who is planning to take people (from Einstein to a friendly non-religious postman) and torture them for ever, and ever, and to eternity beyond?
I just want to ask you, how can you believe that, and hold it in your moral outlook?
Neanderthalcouzin 1 year ago
@Neanderthalcouzin It's not hard for me, a believer in Jesus Christ to understand at all. The Bible teaches that man (human beings) are inherantly evil and are sinners. Sin is disobeying what God commands. Jesus came and died on the cross a sinless man so that we may be forgiven of our sin, if we ask for it. Mankind must repent/turn from their sin and turn to God who sent his son Jesus to die for our sin. God doesn't send anyone to Hell and torment, but the person who rejects Jesus does.
Calbenmike 1 year ago
@Calbenmike Thanks for the response. But it sounds like this God created us sick and commanded us to be well, on pain of eternal torment. The justification of the psychotic move to torture people for all eternity is essentially 'well, I didn't create you perfect....' That doesn't seem logical. If you bred a strain of cattle to be kind of unpredictable, would you beat them to death for just being the way you made them?

I wouldn't consider Einstein an example of American atheism, even if he lived his last years there, most of his important work and his education was in Europe.
spikevalentine13 1 year ago
Einstein was from Switzerland.
TheQuetzalkoatl 1 year ago
@TheQuetzalkoatl He was born in Germany, but it doesn't matter... "was from" is the key error in your argument, and I've already discussed it in this forum ad-nauseam. Where did Einstein go to? What country was his home?

Bill Gates: This Is no god but Microsoft and Gates is his Profit.
Why do Atheists always flatter themselves on how smart they are and did not know this obvious truth?
RPenta 1 year ago
@RPenta let me get this straight. god made bill gates huge, and doesn't care for starving children. grow up.
flashash2k9 1 year ago
@flashash2k9 Say what????
Do you not understand the concept of irony? Gates is one of the atheist heroes and is a plutocrat with a god-like ego--the phrase if of course a riff on the chief maxim of Islam. You can appreciate the spelling of "Profit" here I hope.
RPenta 1 year ago
@RPenta i dont think atheists see themselves as smarter, its just that the sheep make us look smarter, heres hopeing science can find the gene that leads to rediculous superstitions, then we can evolve together, without the anger of an imaginary jealous god.

You can think whatever you want. Just don't bash other people's beliefs.
twistc7 1 year ago
@twistc7 That's silly. We respect people, not beliefs. There's no god, you know that, and you need to look for some other reason to be thankful.
bishop8000 1 year ago
@bishop8000 I respect your beliefs. Even if you can't respect religion, you can at least respect what religion preaches, like respect for others.
twistc7 1 year ago
@twistc7 It also preaches a lot of disrespectful things such as mistreatment of gay people, submission to authority, the inequality of women, belief in the absence of convincing evidence. I respect you as a person, but no, I do not respect your beliefs or what they preach.

@bishop8000 - A fool has said in his heart, "There is no God.". Who are you giving thanks to today? Yourself?
jojojosmart 1 year ago
@jojojosmart "A fool has said in his heart: there is no God." - Consider the source.
"Who are you giving thanks to today? " - My friends and family, the same as you. You don't need to be superstitious to appreciate what you have in life.
bishop8000 1 year ago
@bishop8000 --If you didn't have friends and family, who would you give thanks to? God gave you your fiends and your family.
jojojosmart 1 year ago
You don't necessarily need to direct your thanks to a person or deity. 99.9% of the atoms in the universe will never grow to life and consciousness as ours have. Isn't it enough just to be thankful that you're lucky enough to be alive? There's no god, but that doesn't mean that we have no reason to be thankful, on the contrary. The real universe as revealed by science is at least as wonderful as the make believe one described by superstition and religion.
bishop8000 1 year ago
@bishop8000 --- I would like to hear your prayer of thanks. It might go something like this. "I don't know who to thank, but I'm thankful for my friends. I'm thankful for the random chance of combined atoms and molecules that I'm here. i don't know why I am here, but I'm thankful for the cook who's helping me live a little longer. I'll be dead soon and I don't think I'll be too thankful then.
jojojosmart 1 year ago
@jojojosmart Here's a news flash: people who don't believe in god, don't pray! Surprise!
"i don't know why I am here, but I'm thankful for the cook who's helping me live a little longer. I'll be dead soon and I don't think I'll be too thankful then."
Everyone please read that quote again without the ironic tone with which it was actually intended. He's absolutely right. This is the only chance we'll ever get to be together, we're lucky to be here at all, I am deeply thankful that we are.

[June 28, 1813; Letter to Thomas Jefferson]
zigzagzoo12 1 year ago
@zigzagzoo12 Read carefully. Believing religion to be useful is very different than believing it to be true. Appreciating the morals of Christ, is very different from believing that Christ actually existed.

"In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views."5
-- Albert Einstein
Can it get more clearer??? And this is just ONE example of the many people which you used their quotes out of context.
zigzagzoo12 1 year ago
@zigzagzoo12 This is a terrible example. Einstein did not believe in god, he used the word god to describe kind of mystery. It's you who's quoting him out of context.
bishop8000 1 year ago
@zigzagzoo12 false, please read something that EINSTEIN wrote, dont take it from a christian page, he received letter from religous poeple because he didnt believe in any god

Great video, rated as a like. Quick query though: Jefferson and Lincoln (and maybe one or two of the others) are IIRC the subject of a controversy over whether they were atheists or deists. I was just wondering, do you have any quotations from them that clinched that one in your mind (which I'd love to read), or did you just think, might as well bung in the likely maybes? Which, BTW, I'd be totally cool with.
PokemonGoldenOldies 1 year ago
I'm afraid I don't have any quotes to clinch the deal so I would classify them in the "likely" category as well. For Lincoln, there are were eye witness sources who claimed at the time of the civil war that he did not believe in god, but that's hardly conclusive. In either case, keep in mind that they were both public figures at a time of far less public tolerance toward atheism. If they were atheists, I wouldn't expect there to be proof. What we do have however, is very telling to me.
