though it's been said that the real Sybil was hypnotized into believing she was abused, no one really knows. It's possible that this disorder could be cured, but it requires a lot of effort and time. Most of the time, this disorder is not cured.

This one is soooo much better than the new one. They really overdid the new one, but as far as an honest, believeable performance, this version wins. I saw the whole thing once a long time ago and really want to see it again but can't find it anywhere.

i would like to see the whole movie... i've seen the remake 2007 Sybil one... but i like this actress much better :)
