hi, i'm really keen to see how the rest of the ceiling is done so i was going to ask where the next video is but i just noticed the date on this video.....and i'm guessing this is currently in progress. i look forward to seeing the rest...thanks, stu
I just got a PM from one of the guys in the forum telling me how to use the laser level to fix battens so close. He said to set the laser up about 100mm below the ceiling and then use a tape measure or similar to get the correct height. I wish I had thought of that in the first place. At least I know for next time ;-)

I can not get the laser level that close to the ceiling as the battens were only 20mm thick

@ultimatehandyman They are a great bit of kit so many uses.
In either plumb or level mode just remember to measure to the middle of the laser line as this line gets thicker the longer the distance. :)
